So let me get this right, so I do not miss anything.
It is the latest as of 2 days ago.
The latest is 2 days ago
So you claim it is not updated when it is.
Or are you like others?
Claiming it is not updated when you did not even download it.

Actually your original post on this thread is misleading as the version number still indicates Retail | 5.34380.
And below your post, it's still written Last edited by BlueRainsky; 1 Week Ago at 10:34 PM. Reason: Updated.
So I was also wondering why the version wasn't updated
But I can confirm that I've downloaded the last version on Proton just now, and it is v.9.5.34457 in game!
So I assume you have updated the addon version in the repository, but not the text in your post. No offense

Well I assume that people on here have a evp account and now doing the same on here as they do there.
Let me point out something.
How can I see the version if I cannot access it?
People value the version, if right or wrong over the actual guide content.
I can have it uploaded, but I cannot see the version. Because I do not have access to my pc in a hospital.
But seeing people are gonna do exactly the same thing let me resolve that now

Thank you very much for providing this upload regularly. It is much appreciated. I think maybe some people are just impatient, or unable to show gratitude.

This had nothing to do with impatience or incompetence! The uploader often changed the display in the first post. Sometimes there were no version numbers to be seen, then suddenly they were there again. Sometimes it only said whether it was Classic, for example Cataclysm Classic, or Retail. In addition, his Proton Drive does not show when he last changed the file. His files are also not labeled with version numbers. So where was the user at fault? He does good things, but often blames the users, even though he made the mistake himself. He just needs to specify a version number somewhere or choose an uploader that shows when the file was last modified. Because no one wants to download something every day just because it might be updated and no version number is specified.

Let’s break this down point by point:
You’ve uploaded files for over 12 years, and they’ve never had versions attached. People download them without much thought, taking without consideration. Now, suddenly, they use version numbers as an excuse to create drama.
Here's the issue:
One file has different eras (SOD, HC, Anniversary). People specifically want the "Anniversary" version, but they download "Mists of Pandaria" instead and then complain it doesn’t work. How can I take people like that seriously?
Where is the user's fault in this?
They know they’re playing the Anniversary version, they’ve downloaded and installed the correct addons for it, and then they choose to download Mists of Pandaria. They KNOW they’re playing the Anniversary version, so why would they grab the wrong file? They still try to blame someone else for their mistake. What’s the excuse? Can’t read?
You pointed out one issue, and I asked you a simple question—what exactly is the problem? You didn’t answer, yet you expect me to figure it out. If you’re going to tell me what to do, at least be clear about what you want.
People like this don't seem to care about the time and effort that goes into this. They’ll download the same file multiple times, expecting a different result, and then complain about it. That's the definition of insanity, repeating the same action and expecting a different outcome.
But let me ask you this:
If you're in the hospital with internal bleeding, would you expect to come home and make changes to the files on your computer right away? People act like their lives will end if they can’t have the latest version immediately. Can you answer that? That’s the kind of pressure you’re putting on me.
"Last modified"? "Last upload date"?
It doesn’t matter. People download the same version over and over, and then expect it to be updated to something that doesn’t even exist. They make demands but contribute nothing.

You could adjust the folder structures so that all versions are downloaded at once and copied to the right place: Classic to Classic, MoP to MoP, and Retail to Retail. That way, you can avoid dummies. I also wondered what was going on because you had 4380 as the version number for Retail for days, even though, as you said to that person, you had already updated.
As I said, you don't currently specify a version number anywhere, and it's also not clear when you update because you can't see when you last changed the files. That's something you could improve if you're honest with yourself.

For days
Well can you access your home pc from a hospital bed?
All versions at once? Anyone can do that, why can’t you?
I see you avoided answering my question. Because it would be no and you did not want to say anything.

I don't care what others do or don't do. I simply pointed out that you didn't specify the version number and didn't mention whether you had performed an update. You could just write when you last performed an update after the links. It doesn't necessarily have to be the version number, but it's helpful so that people don't have to reload your files every day, unless you're doing that on purpose to push them. I agree with you on how and what he installs. To find out the version number of Zygor Guides, just look at the changelog on their website. And yes, for at least a week, the version number at Retail was 4380, even though you had performed an update. I know this for sure because I checked after every update. Then I had the idea to download it and check whether you had just not changed the version number.
As I said, I'm a fan of your guide uploads, but you're not as flawless as you always pretend to be. Get well soon.

Yes you do not care, as long as you get what you want at someone else's expense you do not care.
Also, how am I to know if something is updated when I cannot access it from a hospital? When I asked that, you avoided to answer.

Why do you need to know why I was in hospital?
Also, why do you need to know who has uploaded the files to my account?

No one asked you why you were in the hospital. I simply asked who uploads your files if you say you didn't have access to a computer in the hospital. After all, you use that as an excuse all the time so you don't have to say when you last did an update. Of course, I don't want to know who uploads your files. I'm just implying that you're making excuses or lying.

Oh you want excuses, look at all the ones you made for contributing nothing.
When have you ever helped? Take, do not care.
I do not answer to you. When have you ever done anything?
