quiet mining spot

When I didnt have my epic flyer yet I was flying arround Nagrand trying to mine. Just like everybody else is doing on my server. I am on a fairly high populated server and whenever I do a /who Nagrand I see at least 10 lvl70's there.

It was really hard to even get a single stack of adamantite ore within one hour. This was totally pissing me off. So I finally got my epic mount and I was mining in Nagrand (not during peak hour) but it was still hard to get ore. Tons of people are mining there non-stop. So I went to terrokar forrest (because I was going into an instance and the group decided to summon me when the group wasnt even complete yet).

So I started mining there. Within 1 hour of mining I got 4 stacks of adamantite and 4,5 stack of fel iron ore. That was during peak hours. There is totally no competition there except the people grinding/questing/leveling there. I skipped skettis for mining because there are allways a shitload of lvl70's doing dailies there making it not a really good place to find a vein. But even during peak hours there is hardly any competition in Terrokar forrest.

I know that fel iron ore is less worth then adamantite ore, but since I am a JC I prospect it and it still has a nice chance to give me a blue gem.

With 1,5 hours of mining and 30 minutes of going to AH and placing all the stuff there gave me about 430G. So that is roughly 200g per hour mining in Terrokar. And I have the feeling that even with a non-epic flyer you can get a decent ammount of ore there.

well tbh m8 i think ur a complete and utter "suspense" correct guy lol i do the same can never be asked trying to race from vein to vein with some ****** paladin with his aura so i started hitting terrokar im working out atm non peke times about 400g an hour. +rep to you sir

thnx for the heads up man. how far apart are the nodes from each other? i ask because i still have the regular flying mount and i dont think id do as good as you guys would if they were to be too far apart.

Leveling 60-70 nets you 1000-1300g on quests and greens alone.

You must suck at this game really hard.

well considering you dont have a flying mount you will need to take a detour for mountains and walls and such and miss several veinspots because it would take ages to grind through all the mobs there. I suggest you grind/quest for money for a normal flying mount before you start doing mining runs.

If you do have a flying mount, but not an epic one the results may vary. Last time I ran into 4 - 7 veins per round (covering allmost all terrokar except skettis). But yesterday it was only 3-5 because there seemed to be a bit more competition. It was however on both runs peak hour (20:00 Server Time), I am sure that when you do it at night or in the morning you will run in to at least 6 veins per round.

Just do some quest to get the money for you flying mount. I saved SMV, BEM, and Netherstrom for 70 So i can get some quick easy gold. Got my flyer and epic flyer in about a week! You can do it. Thanks for the tip about the mining spot. Have been looking for one!@
