Making Money with Tailoring & Enchanting

I came across this site searching for some guides and thought i'd TRY and repay the favour by attempting to write a guide.

Shortly after buying WoW i was taught, by a friend, their method of making money.

    This was:

    *Buy Cloth
    *Craft
    *DE
    *Sell

Im sure many of you use a similar method to this but i just wanted to share what i found to be the best way. I've seen guides virtually identical to this but using a different pattern.

BUY [Pattern: White Bandit Mask] then buy as much Mageweave as you can get your hands on. I usually pay <2g50 per stack.

Now the best thing about this is that its a level 38 item (More dust) and only uses 1 bolt of mageweave. This, to my knowledge is the only decent pattern that uses 1 bolt.

If possible i buy about 500 cloth at a time, craft and DE 100 masks in about an hour, then sell usually making 200-400g profit each time.

When i start a new character on a new server I use the crafting+DEing method and usually have around 500g at level 25

Please give me your thoughts on this guide, thanks

ok this is everywhere on google and anyone who has ever had the idea of crafting ad DEing knows this including me. To add to your post though if this isnt common knowlege to everyone is that there is an item called Arcanoweave bracers (not sure on the spelling) it drops in arcatraz and it doesnt require much to make but every time you DE it you get a large prismatic shard, which are 30g on my server.

On both my servers its average is 2-3g, but if it were 5g there would still be a profit.

Sorry if it is common knowledge but just thought i'd try and contribute as it is far far easier than a lot of the gold guides around.

I like this method. I'm planning to start a new character on a new server, but I do not know what steps to take in order to lvl up my enchanting to 125 and tailoring to 215 by lvl 25... When i leveled up my tailoring and ench on my lock, i spent about 30-40g to get them up. If I make a new character on a new server, I will not have enough money to get it up that much.. Would it be alright if you can list the steps you took in order to level ench and tailoring? Would be highly appreciated. =]

Leveling tailroing is easy I usually just quest till 15 or so, then make linen bolts with my cloth. I buy some more linen cloth for <20s and then make bolts until my tlring is at 40, then make brown linen robes and DE. This gets you pretty high. The only problem is wool. But usually when i start a character on a new server. By the time I get to 215tailoring 125 enchanting i have about 30g.

Never buy enchanting mats though, jsut cloth. Thats the key.

+for the leveling of tailoring and enchanting use the guide on the WoW forums for speed and cost. But make sure you always make items that can be DEd
