    [Guide] Remote controlling of glider

I'm new here and I don't want to become a leecher, therefore I decided to write this guide. Hope you'll enjoy it!

This guide will teach you how to check up on and even control glider from, for example, your workplace.
I hope this hasn't been done before, at least on these forums, but if it has please just let me know.

    This is what you'll need
    1. A copy of glider (elite or non-elite, it's up to you. You can get it here: Glider)
    2. A program that lets you connect to glider (There are many different ones. I use GliderRemote and the guide will be for that specific program. You can get it here GliderRemote )
    3. You might need to forward the port that glider is listening to. I'll get to that later.
    4. If you have a dynamic IP you might want to set up a Static DNS because your IP adress might change. This is done by registering on No-IP - Dynamic DNS, Static DNS for Your Dynamic IP and downloading the program provided by them. It's really easy.
    Glider settings

Now you open up glider and go to the "Configuration" tab. Enable the remote feature by checking the little box. Then enter a port that you want glider to listen to. The default one is 3200. Leave it like that or change it, it's your choice but be sure to write it down/remember it because you'll ned it later.

    GliderRemote settings

Now it's time to set up GliderRemote. When you first download the program the file is called "GliderRemote.exe" or something like that. Rename it to whatever you like and place it in the folder of your choice.
Now you can start the program. Press the "Configuration" tab and fill in your IP-adress (lets say that I've set up a static dns called "gliderremote.no-ip.org" then that goes in the "Host" field.
Then enter the port that you configured glider to listen to and bahm, you should be good to go.

If it doesn't work you'll have to forward the port that you entered previously. Do this by going to PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall and follow the instructions to "log on" to your router. Then follow this guide GliderRemote Guiki

I hope this was helpfull for some of you. Please give me some input on this guide and tell me what I did wrong:P
    Happy gliding!
