Possible 300-500g an hour as Jewel Crafter

Searched " Chaotic Skyfire Diamond " and found nothing under this, 1st post so bare w/ me if this is a repost.

In patch 2.3 the design for Chaotic Skyfire Diamond was released.

Apparently it's bugged, and instead of being BoP drop only for JC's, it's a BoE drop that only JC's can see and can be looted multiple times.

It drops off the Coilskar Siren in Northern Shadowmoon Valley.

Managed to find 2 in about an hour and a half of farming, sold one for 500, and another for 450. But these prices are from my server so it could possibly be more or less on yours.

Try not to actually learn the recipe, because some people say they can no longer get it to drop and this is coming from people who have actually learned it.

Nice one! I guess that if you don't have any professions (or low lvl so you are willing to sacrifice one of em) you could just learn JC (skill lvl 1) and go farm. I don't think there is a JC skill requirement for it to drop eh ?

Most likely, I have been able to loot enchanting / tailoring patterns when both were low, so don't see why it would be any different.

Yeah I went and got jc its at level 5 and I have been here for about and hour can't find one. I don't know if its because I am killing on my warrior and looting on my shaman who has JC or if its because my shamans JC is only skill of 5 but i am gona get my druid down here hes got maxed JC see if he can't get one

Farmed for 5 hours today and managed to get 3, and sold all for 500g each. I think I went for 2~ + hours without seeing one after I got the second. So, it's def still dropping. Friend even ran in there to actually learn the recipe and got it in about 20 mins.

Like all random drops, they are random :P. Sometimes you get lucky and find one in an hour, sometimes your not, and it takes longer then that.

Also, they drop off the coilfang SIREN, and not any of the other mobs, so you have to factor in that not every mob your killing has a chance to drop it.

Yes, I kill them on my own. Do you already happen to have the recipe learned? Id ask if you weren't partied w/ the warrior, but i'm sure you are, set the loot to free for all as well.
