    Kurenai Rep Guide

Before you start grinding out Kurenai rep, be sure to check out the Consortium rep prizes. You can take a look at them HERE. The reason for this is that Obsidian Warbeads (which play a major part in getting Kurenai rep) can also be turned in for Consortium rep. Make your decision based on your class, and your armor needs.

Is your mind set on Kurenai? Let's address a couple points before we start. Everyone starts at Unfriendly reputation with Kurenai. Don't worry though, you go through the reputation ranks quickly. There are many quests to be obtained for Kurenai rep, but there is usually no avoiding grinding sessions. My Kurenai rep guide only addresses a small part of Zangarmarsh and Nagrand.

With those points out of our way, we can start the quests! The first quest can be obtained in Telredor, Zangarmarsh at level 62.

You can start the chain in Orebar Harborage. There's not much else you can do until you hit 64 and can go to Nagrand. (You can go to Nagrand at an earlier level, but you cannot get the Telaarquests until level 64).

    Our Nagrand Map

Make your way to Telaar and obtain the Flight path (Located above the inn). There are many quests you can get from Telaar, too many to explain in detail. One of the very first quests you get you are required to kill ogres near Telaar (this spot is marked on map).
Another major quest chain is the Free corki quest. You can first find Corki in the Burning Blade ruins, sitting in a cage and yelling insults like "Hey fatso! How can you go to the bathroom with all that fat?" at the ogres. You need to kill ogres until they drop the Boulderfist Key. It has a low drop rate but it shouldn't take you too long. Be sure to save all the Obsidian Warbeads you find and any Oshugun Crystal Powder.Once you free Corki you can turn in the quest to his father in Telaar. His father will give you yet another quest to free corki.
The name of the quest is Corki's gone missing again!. He can be found in the back of the cave in Northwind Cleft. Sometimes (though rarely) he can also be found in the Southwind Cleft. Make sure to pick up the quest [66]The Twin Clefs of Nagrand before you start, since you'll be on a killing spree anyway. You need to grind on ogres again until you get the key to free Corki with. The key goes on your keyring so be sure to check it every so often. Free Corki and return to his father in Telaar.

There are many more quests in Telaar to do for rep, but now we will concentrate on the grinding aspect.

    Grinding for Beads!

Each ogre you kill in Nagrand gives you +10 Kurenai rep. Ogres also have a 33% drop rate on Obsidian Warbeads. You may turn these in, ten at a time in Telaar for 500 rep per turn in. So save the warbeads!!! You also can find Oshugun Crystal Powder off the ogres. You may turn these in 20 at a time in Halaa. (New to Nagrand? Halaa is a pvp city that can be captured by either the Horde or Alliance. When your in Nagrand you can see a little line at the top of your screen with the words 'Guards Remaining: 15/15. Say Halaa is controlled by the Alliance, if the horde kills all 15 guards they may capture Halaa. You may only turn in Crystal Powder when Halaa is controlled by your faction) For every 20 powders you turn in you receive a Halaa Research Token. These tokens along with Halaa Battle Tokens (If you battle the opposing faction in a fight over Halaa you get one token per Honor Kill) can be turned in next to the quartermaster for prizes.

All the spots with ogres are listed on the map. I find the best spot to farm rep is the Burning Blade Ruins. There are 2 levels, the ogres are easy to solo, and they re spawn quickly. All the big ogre camps are marked with large circles, so you can find whichever is easiest for you.

    Good Luck and happy repping!

Copy and pasted, I don't know where, but I've seen it before, plus in the beginning, it says "Before you start grinding out Kurenai rep, be sure to check out the Consortium rep prizes. You can take a look at them HERE."
