Leveling from 85 to 90 on Timeless Isle - 10-25M xp per hour - solo

so i tried this just 5 min ago. but cure disease was removed long ago and using purify doesnt do the trick. the debuffs is poison type :/ so any idea ?

Sorry, my bad, I meant purify, but I Confused it with the druids version to begin with. Just keep them at å distance with body and soul sprint, renew and mindsear.

Just an update I came back to do this as an 87 arms warrior and struggled quite a bit, dying a lot (only because I'm terribad). However 88-89 was smooth sailing and the only thing making it slow is the high pop server I'm on. All the 90's keeping killing the worm packs I don't know why.

Anyway, don't forget to use the WoW 9th anniversary buff every hour. I get ~20k+ xp per worm at level 89, unrested.

The only time I see a 90 fighting the worms is if they accidentally AOE one when killing the Adders right there.

I'm doing this since a while, with my warrior 89 prot, I can pull 2 groups without any trouble, I juste apple-food-food_loot_from_elite-and status buffs.

The problem is, I kill them so fast and respawn time is so slow. To waste my time I kill lot of cranes before they respawn, usually aggro packs of 8-10 cranes and aoe them all.

My best run, at 5AM when nobody is online, is around ~11.5 Millions xp/hours. I cant believe you can go up to 25M unless you are at 200%.

Pretty sure lot of people count the XP/Hours manually and it's usually higher, but the reality is different, I use titan panel to check my xp/hours.

Good place to farm anyway, but not at peak time and not on a pvp server

Just wanna say thank you so much for this guide. Went there on my BM monk at 87, died a bit at first but then I started killing the normal mobs, they dropped the items that give you buffs like the book or elixir, and things went much smoother. From 88-90 I only died twice maybe, and I got 90 in probably 3 full hours. I took my time and killed rares when I could.

In the end when I hit 90 I had over 18k coins, probably over 200g from vendor trash, nearly a full set of Armor tokens from the rares (including 1 burden!) and a lot of vanity items. I used the coins to instantly get the 476 weapons.

Not to mention I looted every crane nest and got about 8 Azure Crane Chicks.

Overall, amazing guide and will be my preferred method for leveling in the future.

It all depends very much on class, gear, buffs and ganking. And obviously being rested helps.

I have a level 10 bank alt parked in Shrine. You can just get a port from a mage, then have someone with a 2-seater fly you to the Isle.

Alternatively if you're already 85 and are exalted with Anglers you can just ride across the sea.

Doesn't sound quite right. I were there just a few days ago and I were swimming in xp. Are you ungrouped?

have been using the method on and off while leveling. getting >10mio xp/h, close to 13-15 as 89

mob tagging in towlong is a little bit more effective but they have nerfed it a bit i think. was around 15mio xp/h there as unrested as 89.
on my other chars i've been 20-25 but i dont remember if i was rested then.

Tips for everyone:
use Celebration Package until 1 december (+9% exp)
use Book of the Ages (random stat increase +8000), drop from mobs on TImeless Isle
use Time-Lost Shrines as they give you huge buffs, especially Chi-Ji's Blessing

Tips for hunters: use Spirit Beast pet, Spirit Bond talent, Glyphs: Animal Bond, Mending, Misdirection

I tried this last night on my very well geared ele shaman. Just killing grubs and turtles I could only average MAX 4.5 mill/hr.....what am I missing here where yall are getting 15m?
