How do I do this on a brewmaster monk
I know nothing about that class, but that is a tank spec so you must have AOE and the ability to get that poison spit off you. The most effective way is to group the worms tightly by backing in and out of poison spit range and just don't hang in long enough for them to actually spit.
Here is how I do it on my Druid, where I rely on bleeds and AOE, and just keep them from hitting me:
Does this still work today?
confirm this still works
Leveld from 86-90 in around 5 hours with 200% Rested and no Guild.
Not as fast as tag boosting, but still pretty good
Taunt one of them from a little distance, let them come toward you and gather, detox, run in and keg smash, fire breath, spin, spin, fire breath, spin more, detox. Heal when needed. Leg sweep if your gear requires them to be stunned for longer.
Obviously tag boosting is always gonna be faster for obvious reasons, and this place here gets even more insane when you tag.
Did this as a warrior from 88-90 with ilvl 401 gear. Was getting around 8M exp/hour unrested. Pulling the worm packs is fairly trivial as a warrior. Spec into AoE silence, mass reflect, and shockwave, and you will be golden.
One thing I did not see mentioned (or I missed it) are the 10 minute damage buffs you can find that do 200k AOE on a 1 min cd. There is several varieties, but all spawn at the same locations, see here:
Riverspeaker's Trident - Object - World of Warcraft
It's a guaranteed one-shot. It's especially nice for farming turtles. There is an alcove near the horde camp that has around 20 turtles in it. Pop defensives, pull all 20, shockwave, then one-shot them all with the AOE buff. 450k xp in one pull.
My general rotation was
1) Find buff
2) Wipe turtles near horde camp. Kill the smaller packs as well. You can safely pull 5-6 as melee, just make sure to stand on eggs and pop them for the heal.
3) Ride to worms, wipe the worms.
4) At this point you have 2-3 minutes left on buff. So just wipe some chicks, or go looking for the new buff.
You do lose time looking for the buff, but the fun of one-shooting packs was worth it for me. All in all, it worked out to about 8M/hour for me.
Thanks for the guide!
I mentioned those buffs back in post 44 but it doesn't hurt to bring it up again...it is very effective.
Also note: You can kill celestrial/ordos for loot as well, just jump in him him and you receive something, Warlock is kitted out with 4xwarforged gear and he's level 87![]()

Still works, did this with hunter alt 87-90 in about 3-5 hours. There are 5 worm packs around the village, so at 89 i got about 1M+ XP per 5 packs. Takes a bit longer because of ganks.
If you find one of the treasures like trident or crown, the turtles near camp become faster for leveling.

I'm lvl 85 frost mage, and I haven't played since like 5.2 or something. I'm wondering how do I get to the timeless isle at like lvl 87?
