Low level is not suitable here, at least 85.
For low level character, I have another spots for powerleveling, also works as instant respawn.

I'm doing this right now as i am typing this, with a lvl 90 Mage friend. He is just spamming "Nether Tempest" that spell just jumps arround and tags them all and they all die pretty fast. (I'm a lvl 87 priest)

I can confirm at the start it took a while for them to spawn, but after 5-10 min they spawn instantly.

I'm still confused, people doing this while in grp with 90 or they tag and 90 kills ? Obviously tagging would go way faster but i dont think all classes can afford to tag and live at that rate :O

from what i gather, they shouldnt be grouped. ideally your booster (lvl 90) is an aoe class that stands between you and the mobs.

you tag mobs
mobs run to you
aoe booster aoe's them all/ gets full threat on them before they can reach you

win

How to do it with various classes. First of these are the ones I tested:

Warlock: Demonology, Glyph of Demon Hunting, Harvest Life, Grimoire of Sacrifice. Sacrifice pet for health regen. Harvest life in middle of packs to collect whole thing. Very Fast.

Priest: Disc or Holy, spam Mind Sear to pull furthest away mobs in each pack and it will pick up the rest as they run towards you. Holy/Disc so you can heal yourself and regen mana faster.

Shaman: Elemental, Glyph of Chain Lightning - Chain lightning to pull the packs then use flame shock/unleash weapon to pick up any stragglers. Put down healing stream totem each time you do if you need the healing.

Hunter: BM, Tenacity pet, just spam multishot. Probably one of the fastest.

Paladin: Prot, Seal of Righteousness, Glyph of consecration. Put consecration down on the furthest pack, Avengers shield another pack, Hammer of the righteous to tag any stragglers.

Mage: Frost, glyph of ice lance, Ice Barrier - Blizzard a pack then use Ice Lance to pick up any stragglers. Put Ice Barrier up if you're taking damage.



Now these I haven't tried it with, but I imagine these tactics would work:

Monk: Go brewmaster, Glyph of Breath of fire. Spam Dizzying Haze to pull, Keg Smash then Breath of Fire when they get to melee range to cc them.

Death Knight: Go blood, spam bloodboil, use death and decay, use conversion to heal.

Druid: I imagine Moonkin would probably be best but can't really say for sure.
Warrior: Prot/Thunderclap probably works quite nicely. Again can't say for sure what would be best.
Rogue: Yeah... Probably not a lot you can do. Rogues are squishy as hell, have no real ranged pulls. Best you can hope for is to be boosted by someone who can heal and spam fan of knives.

Don't have to do it as BM if you're a monk, just go WW and spam spinning crane/use flying serpent + FoF when you're low on energy. Mobs hit for nothing.

No, but I did pull and kill a few packs solo in the beginning at 85. It's totally doable as shaman.

Pop healing stream totem and healing rain under yourself then just spam chain lightning on them. Make sure you're using lightning shield.

This works for aoe grinding anything, pretty much.
