The Dupe "Exploit" 4.3.4

Just asking, why would any sell this? It's been known for a loooooooong time and how would any buy this is just a good question:P but well cool for "detailed guide"

they were able to sell it because they labeled it as "dupe" with WTS. people unknowingly gave them gold/money for the method, they copy/pasta you this garbage, and tada, you lost xx gold/$ for this sack of crap.

Okay to clear things up, I figured the original method out on my own, then I bought what apparently appeared as a "dupe" from stian, I read the document through "Dupe.rtf" he said it worked every single time (which mine didn't it was like 7/10) and it looked a little different from the original method, so I am not sure what to do with this.

So I tried to sell it further couse he said he bought it for $250 - So I thought I could probably resell this for the same price as he told me it worked 100% (one ban couse he forgot to turn HotSpot shield off) and I managed to get a few people interested, I didn't sell it though. And then I ended up posting it here.

Call me a douche, I really don't think I have done anything wrong.

The reason why I got it for less was becouse he said he used it waaay too much.

You are not making any sense. Yeah you wouldn't know about those extra steps if you didn't buy it from him, so yeah I'll refer it to as his details. If you told the true story (lol) doesn't matter really as it wasn't you that found that. What do you mean by flamed to death?

I payed for this and these are common things that people knew about (apparently) so no I wouldn't refer to it as "his" details. You are not making any sense.

Edit: I found most of this out on my own, but you are right there are some things that were added to his guide.

I don't see the problem here... Isn't OwnedCore about sharing any information you get about exploits so as much people as possible can benefit from it?
I don't think there is a "Terms of Use" prohibiting me to share the content of a .rtf file I bought for real money without knowing the content of it. Why is it even such a big deal if it's "been known for a loooooooong time"? It's the same as the shitstorm that started in the guides section about some AH prices for transmog gear: If you didn't decide to share your method and someone other does, suck it.
If I buy the Zygor Guide AddOn and put it on the internet free, nobody cares. If I do the same with such an exploit here, all I can see is "but I had it first but didn't want to share so you can't share it because of reasons!"-discussions. Last time I had this I was in primary school, seriously.
