I am trying this with an account that was banned in the banwave in 2009 from gatherbuddy... will report back

I would just like to note that the eBook was intended to help the more recent banned accounts (few days/weeks/months ago). While the information contained in the eBook may help you for older accounts, I do feel that they will have a reduced chance of success. However, good luck! I hope you have success

People say they get their accounts banned if they ask for support and blizzard looks closer to they accounts and they see they're using RaF gametime.

you won't get banned for that, they will merely remove the gametime nothing else
