Useful DeathKnight Macros

I play a DK as my main character, so I know quite a bit about DK macros and how useful they can be (as for any class in WoW)
I thought it might be useful for me to compile a guide on useful DeathKnight macros...... There is not a lot of macros here just some really usefull ones (and a couple that I just think are cool) NOTE: I only play frost dps spec and blood tank as a DK, so I dont have any Unholy macros made up at the moment (since cataclysm). But if you want a macro written to do something useful for unholy spec (or another spec) feel free to request it id be happy to make it for you.

NOTE: I did not create all of these macros, they are just macros that I have found to be usefull, some I made and some I got from other sources. so I compiled them together into a thread.
Sorry if any of these are reposted, I dont have access to an accurate search function.

Fast cast death pact
USE: The first time you click it will summon a ghoul, second click will use death pact- sacraficing the ghoul to gain health.

Multiple Taunt macro
USE: This casts Death Grip if it's not on cooldown,if it is it will cast Dark Command. If you have the Unholy ability that shortens this cooldown, change the reset to 25.

Multiple Interrupt macro
USE: This casts Strangulate if it's not on cooldown,if it is it will cast Mind Freeze.

Multiple Disease macro (a bit outdated since "outbreak" but can be useful if pestilence is included
USE: This casts IT when you press the button for the first time,then when you press it for the second time it casts PS. You can add Pestilence to the list if you usually fight more than 1 enemy.

Heroic Death-Grip
USE: Casts Deathgrip but with a twist (Lich King charge audio)

EPIC Frost dps macro (FROST ONLY)
USE: Simple "I win" button. Just spam it in combat and it will sicken the target, Blood Strike it twice, Obliterate it, burn Runic Power, and then cast Howling Blast.

Super Panic Button (FROST)
Use: When you're surrounded by too many enemies,spam it while you run and be sure to have some Runic Power. It will heal yourself with the Lichborne+Death Coil on self combo(see below),then it will cast IBF and PoF to reduce your damage and avoid that stuns or external movements block you, freeze your enemies with Hungering Cold, make you immune to magic with A-M Shell,summon your ghoul and sacrifice it while you run to heal yourself with Death Pact.

Self Heal (FROST)
Use: This will cast Lichborne,making you undead, and then cast Death Coil on yourself. Since Death Coil damages the enemy but heals the friendly undead,it will heal you. And since Lichborne isn't on the GCD,there is no need to spam the macro,since LB and DC will be cast together.

General Tanking Macro (BLOOD)
Use: Usefull all-around tanking macro for blood spec (obviously).

Super Panic Button (BLOOD)
Use: Use: Press this in combat and it will increase healing done, heal you a bit add a shield and reduce magic damage. Add in Gift of the Naaru or other race specials for healing if you want a bigger boost. Useful for if you have a bad healer or they're out of mana etc. It lasts a couple of seconds, but its very useful in combat.

WTF?
Why are you using IT if your frost? Glyph HB like every site recommends and take IT off you bars.
Do you realize 2 Blood Strikes is worse then 1 obliterate? You shouldn't have Blood Strike on your bars.

Why are you macroing all your defensive CDs in 1 button?
Why are you using Obliterate as Blood.


Are you posting from a alternate reality? Where you are in early WOTLK still?

This post will do damage to people who use this stuff.
I don't see a single macro that is usefull here or should ever be used.


1. You should never use Cast Sequence macros to DPS. They are terrible.
2. Correct Macro below

and these macros werent even valid in "early wrath" so I dont think that is the alternate reality im speaking from bro.. these macros were written after 4.2.2
I use them on a daily basis and I guarentee I would own you in dps (at the same gear level... im ilevel 296, what are you?)

HB always does more damage than IT. As soon as you can train HB, you remove IT from your bars.

You never, ever, ever, ever use Blood Strike as Frost. Why do you have that in your macro? You're wasting valuable runes on bad abilities.

lol 296ilvl? i just died a littlte i think my level 82 has a higher ilvl then that,

you have a pretty sad dk main if your using blood strike and even plague regularly in your dps blowing every cd in 1 button just inst a good thing to do at all its more of a waste if anything and a insta pet / sac marco.... really?

Also, I fail to see why you would even consider using Obliterate in blood tanking. Clearly Death strike is better. If you want to make a macro, make one that uses dps trinket at the same time as any other major dps cooldown. BUt NEVER use blood strike in frost. NEver.

I can pul 25k on my 380 dk with no gems and half tank gear by just smashing HB obliterate and Necro strike. You should really try reading up on your class even just a little bit. at 396 ilvl u should be pulling 35k at very least.
