Free 30 days of RAF to level 70

As the title says, this is s small guide to let people know how they can get free 30 days of a RAF linked account with TBC on it.

As you know, Blizzard sent a few people a key for a free month of WoW to give to their friends. That code can be used to upgrade a trial account to a "Battle Chest" account, which is just a normal account with TBC as the max expansion. So here's what you do:

1) First, choose who you want to level the characters, as any characters on the free account are pretty much gone after the 30 days unless you xfer it to your main account.

2) Then, have the person A who wants to level his main account recruit-a-friend to person B

3) Person B should then start the trial then "upgrade" and put in the free 30 day code that one of them got

The accounts are then linked, person A gets a free month, they both get the amazing exp boost (I've helped my friend level two chars to 70 in 3 days so far, just grinding dungeons with one of us as a tank). Now this only works until level 70 because obviously you can't level past what the expansion cap is on your account. But besides that you have every other perk of RAF, summon friend, grant levels, etc. Enjoy!

How does one obtain those 30 day free TBC keys? Do they mail it to you or do you get it through your account management?

Also just wanted to point out I don't think you can transfer characters off a trial account. You have to upgrade it to a full account first.

Well there have always been TBC and WOTLK trials etc, maybe this is just some kind of extensions to it. It seems like Blizzard is playing a very clever game here, basically realizing that it's the end game content that holds the players, so why not let them play literally for free up until that point, get them hooked and then take their money.

Yea the free levels to grant still work.

When you go on account management on battle.net it says its a trial until you use the free 30 day code. It then says its a battle chest account and the subscription says free 30 days. So I'm guessing it turns it into a normal account with TBC upgrade.

But only a few people got the code, it was e-mailed to those people about 3 weeks ago. Didn't think much about it until we figured this out

Just hit 70 with my friend and I after 12 hours of play time. After that I granted his 50 priest levels up to 70 too, and still had some left over :P

Oh I know, his priest was 50, so I granted him 20 levels then used the other 15 on another one of his characters

About a month or two ago Blizzard gave away free WoW/TBC keys to some of their "Veteran Players". You only got one if your account was a certain amount of years old (I don't know the exact year amount), and if you check marked "Receive special offers from Blizzard". A lot of people never check mark that, because company's will always tell you about new games, and ask you to come back, but this is one of the times you needed it.

So, to wrap things up, I don't think you can do this, because Blizzard already sent out the keys.
