Jewelcrafting and Enchanting = huge profit 5-15k/day. Useful macros and tips.

I have made 87k gold using this strategy over the last 3 days.....an absolutely amazing guide.

I highly doubt that. I did this method in WotLK and now in I started in Cataclysm on different servers but the problem is that you will flow the market at one point.
The prices will go down slowly and you will make A LOT nonetheless (really guys, this guide is the best atm, everyone can make gold of it) but you earn this money STEADY and not at once.
Maybe your server's economy is that ruined but on most servers people will overbid you in minutes and then you have to react fast. And this costs a lot of time until you created a little monopoly on certain enchanting mats or gems.

Topic: You really put everything together. Great guide, especially the macro section helped me a lot, because I too had the problem with the limited character space in macros.

Awesome guide. Unfortunatly im stuck at 360 enchanting with Infinite dust going for 200g a stack. Insane. I hope this will calm down so i eventually might grab a cake or two from this guide.

Flunkyhead If Infinite Dust is so expensive on your realm you should consider buying Saronite Ore, prospect it and make rings like Bloodstone Band, Crystal Chalecdony Amulet, Crystal Citrine Necklace or if Eternal Earth is really cheap just make Stone Guard Band from 2x Eternal Earth, disenchant it and you will end with a lot of Infinite Dust and Greater Cosmic Essence, use it for leveling or profit

+Rep, I love you! <3 simply for the macros lol I have been doing this since about a week after cata released and I cry when I see 50 stacks of elementium and gotta click back and forth. The kaybind helped but this is 2x-3x as fast

I need some help here, i'm having a hard time gaining a reasonable amount of profit on this.

Iv'e got Jewelcrafting 500 / Enchanting 525.
Yesterday i bought about 53 stacks of Obsidium ore in total of 3500g~
This gave me about 50 of each gem, and a few blue gems. However, the blue gems are extremely low at my server. They sell for 30g max! Shadowspirit, Dragonseye and Chimera's are the only ones that sell for 100g+, but they cannot be prospectet from Obsidium.

The AH deposit for each stack of gem = 15g. That's 40g in deposit for each of my 50gems. Multiply that by 6 (gem types) equals about 220g in deposit.

I sold all my Nightstones for about 2,000g in total. However, all the other materials are undercut continuously. Only after waiting 10min they are undercut, and i simply cannot cancel these actions because the deposit price is ridicolous. This means i'm now 1,500g short. The problem is what to do with the rest of the gems. If they don't sell the second time i put them up, iv'e allready lost about 400g just on deposits... Any tips here?

You get your deposit back once the auction ends and Deft ember topaz/bold inferno rubies sell for 100g each alone so you'd only need 15 to make you even. Not to mention Jasper/Zeph/Alicite/Carn crafting/de'ing?

essences are 30g and dusts 4g on my server so i would only make profit when disenchanting spikes for x3 essences, everything else and im losing money, so eh..... guess the guide works if ur on a low population server with small supply, otherwise, a waste of time

I'm doing it on 2 high/locked population realms atm and its working nice, I've some chars on low population servers and prices there are worse then on highest so you can't really say that "high pop realm = low prices", its really depends on realm, not population

Used 3.5k and im up at 5kg now, that's 1.5k profit. Havn't sold nearly everything yet (got 33 greater eternal and 30 hypnotic from d/e-ing spikes) still left, and alot of unsold gems. +rep!

well does it change the fact that this IS a waste of time unless ur blessed with a luck of having realm that hasnt got ppl constantly flooding AH with mats, scrolls and gems worth 50% of raw mats

Roaringjet There're ALWAYS items that are in need, you just need to find those which fit your realm. If gems/dusts/essence/scrolls doesn't sell for me well I just switch to flasks/decks/cards or some others, ofcocrse that req some other professions from you but I rather level some other alts/professions then waste time for mining/herbing/grinding that give one time income of money. Crafting professions such as Jc/ench/alchemy/insc requries some investment (and patience) but its long time invesment for people who don't like grind etc, most of things with those professions you do while you afk, watching movies, browsing websites or something like that. There is always some niche, no matter what realm you play....
