Yep, spreadsheet works fine with OpenOffice 3.2. It's free too as well. Just make sure you save the file to desktop, right click the file and click "Open With" and select Open Office 3.2. Then you're good to go!

I'm testing this out on my realm, see if it works well. I spent about 2.3k on ore. 12 stacks of Elementium Ore.

Zephyrite 9x 90g = 180g
Jasper 9x 39g = 351g
Hessonite 8x 65g = 520g
Carnelian 13x 35g = 455g
Nightstone 3x 95g = 285g
Alicite 8x 50g = 400g
Dream Emerald 1x 90g = 90g
Ocean Sapphire 4x 100g = 400g
Ember Topaz 4x 100g = 400g
Demonseye 2x 100g = 200g
Amberjewel 2x 50g = 100g
Inferno Ruby 4x 100g = 400g

If sold, 3781g. Profit around 1.3kg... Not bad I guess. I kept the Inferno Rubies to use for myself though. xD So 1k profit.

I agree, I definitely would love something like that. Guess we need to find someone who has enough time / gold to prospect tons of pyrite and document the percentages. Unless wowhead or something has reliable prospecting percentages which I doubt.

We're currently working on this, but the information wowhead and thottbot is providing, seems to be unreliable, therefore will we make one with average droprates on everything, thus doenst mean it will be perfect, but give a headsup if there could be any profit in it.

edit: You shouldn't be prospecting any of this ore yet, since blizzard haven't released the new epic gems yet. Deposit your ore and wait for your gold fortune.

I tested out your spreadsheet, looks like the math needs some major adjustment (prospecting results specifically).

The chart claimed 2891 G profit for example, but I actually made 273 G profit.

I ended up having to cut some gems just to barely break even. =[

We are aware of the current state, and we are expecting to have this fixed within the next 10mins, sorry for any sort of losses this has brought with it.

I also noticed perhaps the AH cut is lower than what it says? I haven't checked 100%, but it seems low. Then again, prospecting numbers are off since they're percentages and quite random...

Blue gems cost 45 silver for 12 hours
Green gems cost 75 silver for 12 hours
Abit odd, but we are working with the price set at 50 silver and 12 hours
Im currently talking about the fee to post the auctions

But hopefully tomorrow, we will be able to implement the auction house cut to the sheet.

I usually set my times for 48 hours. I'm not sure if that's smart to do in AH.. But it's less work on my part to keep putting up stuff. xD
