dont think you can wear heirlooms and recieve the benefits past level 60 =/ unless they changed it, who knows

From what i have heard,the current heirlooms of wotlk will have its xp bonus disabled.. (stats still grow per level) but the new heirlooms wich are obtainable via the new guild system(reputation stuff) will have a xp bonus..i think i have read it on *************.com

WotLK ones to 80, Cataclysm ones to 85.

Hey all, quickly connecting from a minute laptop halfway accross the world in Italy atm. There is a lot of stuff I want to add before cataclysm comes out when i get back from my trravels.

@GZ yes I did leave heirlooms out because from what I remember reading Blizzard is making the current WOTLK heirlooms only useful from 1-80. Once you go past 80 you then need the new Cataclysm Hierloms.

@humpasaur, it's physically, mentally and last of all medically impossible. Under those conditions your physical reaction speed is much slower and discoordinated, your mental processing and understanding is obscured and inhibitated(spelling?) and the highwill not last you the 48-72 hyours needed to accomplish this task.

Anyways thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm thinking of creating another guide when I get home about gretting from 1-85 with the least amount of /played time for those still wanting a challenge but not having the time and so on to do what is described in my current guide.

Anyways I must go, internet time is expensive here :P

You copy pasted the "Learn all Spells from Trainer Macro" to your "Sell all gray items macro" by accident.

There are 2 good sell all macros.
1. Prints the items you sold:

As others have said, less than the number that I recommended in my guide is still possible, hell you can accmplish this with only you, but it is just a lot harder.
It also depends on how many others are competing with you and who it is that is competing with you.

However, just using Zygor's guide and not looting let me snag realm first with almost 4 hours to spare while I had a 60% mount and greens on a rogue versus 310% mount SWP geared over-powered ret paladins.

Not saying there isn't a CRAP TON of stuff to take away from your post (the health stuff was great) and the tips you did provide would assist someone without a doubt-- but a solid guide and minimal sleep really did the trick and none of it violated the EULA (having multiple people play your account).

Again, don't take this as an insult because your thread is 100% solid. And it is a great source of information.

I've been in beta since F&F alpha, and me and my friends are going to race to 85. We are playing horde on a rather crowded server (listed as 'High' in realm list), with the horde:alliance ratio of about 7:1.

We have a five man group consisting of the following:
Tank Warrior
Healer Paladin
Caster DPS+Offhealer Shaman
Caster DPS Warlock
Melee DPS Rogue


What we're going to do at launch:
1. Park characters in dalaran/orgrimmar
2. Log in, put talent points in
3. Train new spells/skills+The flying mount skill that lets you fly in Azeroth
4. Train profession skills
5. Use one of our Direbrew's Remotes to teleport to BRD
6. Run Blackrock Caverns (five man normal dungeon, like the Nexus in wotlk) to level 82 (this takes around 10-12 hours if our calculations are correct)
7. Start questing, skipping Vashir and Hyjal (wich will be incredibly crowded)

I would recommend anyone planning on rushing to 85 on a big server to run instances to 82. This goes very quick, and saves you all trouble about being ganked or having to wait for quests mobs to respawn.

Another protip if you want to be certain about getting to play the minute the servers come up is to preorder the game on-line. Not in one place, but more like 3-4 ones. I have already pre-ordered at two websites, and one of them will send me an e-mail with my cd-key before they ship the game (I got lucky with their customer service!). Be sure to check their return-policies before ordering more than one. If you order from a good site, they will give you a full refund if you return the game. Just use the first one you get, and send all the other ones back.
