Holybeast's Dungeon Gold Guide

Welcome to the new home to my guide on making gold in instances. Over the next couple weeks this thread will be updated with videos on how much gold one can expect to make from soloing lower level instances. Please note that money varies depending on your drop rates and your servers economy, but this should be at the very least a general idea of what you could be making and about how long it will take to do so.

At time of writing this, the character I will be using for farming is a level 80 elemental shaman in a PvP restoration gear set with roughly 5200 in game gear score. It is also worth mentioning that I am also horde on the realm Ghostlands-US.

Ragefire Chasm:
Gold Drop - 47 Silver
Trash - 1 Gold 17 Silver
Auction House - 22 Gold 20 Silver
Total - 23 Gold 84 Silver
Per Hour - 138 Gold

Deadmines:
Gold Drop - 1 Gold 20 Silver
Trash - 1 Gold 77 Silver
Auction House - 161 Gold
Total - 163 Gold 97Silver
Per Hour - 819 Gold 85 Silver

There will be no guide for wailing caverns, it doesn't return enough gold for the amount of time it takes, so it is omitted from this guide.


Stormwind Stockades:
Gold Drop - 1 Gold 90 Silver
Trash - 94 Silver
Auction House - 77 Gold
Total -79 Gold 84 Silver
Per Hour - 399 Gold 20 Silver

There will be no guide for Blackfathom Deeps, it doesn't return enough gold for the amount of time it takes, so it is omitted from this guide.


Shadowfang Keep:
Gold Drop - 1 Gold 18 Silver
Trash - 2 Gold 42 Silver
Auction House - 62 Gold
Total -103 Gold 90 Silver
Per Hour - 519 Gold 50 Silver


Hellfire Ramparts(Boss Run):
Gold Drop - 10 Gold

I look forward to seeing these videos, though it probably won't be anything new on youtube. Will you go hard core with this and try different methods of pulling and downing instances, or are you just going to clear it how you feel it should be cleared and then post the money you make? depending on how you pull a certain instance it can make you a bunch more gold per hour.

The videos may seem useless when I provide the information gathered in text below the video, however, this guide isn't just for the people here on mmowned, it is also for my youtube subscribers, who will not be viewing this thread. Therefore, the videos do indeed serve a purpose other than just showing how long it takes to clear the instances.

Im not saying that I recommend doing that, Im giving you the information... I do not spend my time farming RFC for gold, this is to let you know where you can be making the most profit in lower level dungeons. Always remember, some people will actually pay you to take them through the instance and all they want is the blues... so bam, you get these rewards, plus get a nice payment from your employer.

I was going to mention enchanting in the later videos... On most servers, dungeons under 35 do not give disenchant mats that will sell for more than a few silver on the auction house. I do not have enchanting but it is a wise investment.
