wut
pretty good guide will have to keep it in mind if I ever leave my guild for another one.
Its a nice guide yet it is all really irrelevant when you have a bad GS.
I feel like you missed the point, so allow me to elaborate:
The point of the guide is to allow you to bypass GS and other restrictions with careful planning, hence why I assumed one could even follow the guide from a new, leveling character that would end up in 80 with greens.
GS is a tool for those who want a quick shortcut. Society is based off shortcust, hence why GS is so popular and why it works. However, power is in the hands of those who plan their networks. With the correct planning, those are the true shortcuts one is to develop as in the long run they'll provide you faster rewards than anything else.
For every 20 guilds that will ignore you because of your GS there's bound to be a guild with either mature people, casuals, or players who dislike GS for the sake of it. These are of course speculative numbers, but the fact is: There are many, many guilds like this.
If you're not looking for these and you have a bad GS, then I'll be blunt: You're doing something wrong. The same "something wrong" that 99% of the players do. You're involving yourself with people who are not your friends AND have nothing to contribute to you. But the thing here is to realize that all of these things can be avoided.
It's in a way similar to the people who like to argue and discuss in Battleground chat when their team starts to lose or that their faction sucks. While it may be true that some factions in some battlegroups may not be balanced, from experience over the past 5 years both factions complain a lot. The only thing in common between these matches these players have been in is their presence.
I can expand on how it's also not construtive to whine about anything, as it will obviously lower moral, etc, but I think I got my point straight here. The same thing applies to GS. If one is not finding groups because of his GS it might be a good hour to start working on the network and not on the gear. Conveniently, the people you'll want to find are the people who should NOT judge you because of your GS, specially if you know how to say the right words.
Yea I understand now.
Also, if your in a guild that is doing ICC 10 7/12, but not progressing past that. Should I join a guild a guild who has downed up to Sindragosa with a chance of me being put on stand by? I also need a way to not look like an ass when I leave the core 10 man grp for the old guild if I do go with the one who has downed Sindragosa.
*BUMP*
