ICC Saurfang cannon trick

Hi!

I've came back from a long break after a long leeching, finally I have something for you.

We were running a pug ICC25 this lockout, and we had a lot of problems with marks. Basic tactic was to let the first 2 die who got marks, but always the top DPS-ers got the mark, and we couldn't make it. Someone had an idea to try out getting into the cannons with mark and guess what, it saved us.

When a person with mark on it gets into the cannon, the mark stays on him, but he/she doesn't get any damage -> not building runic power for boss -> less marks on the way -> no +5% heal for him either.

I've searched for this all over, but only found posts about DI-ing marks and rezzing the pally so far.
1 mentioned here http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...ier-25man.html that the "get into a guntower to prevent dmg" tactic is hotfixed and is no longer doable. I couldn't find the original post but I can confirm it works like a charm. I'm playing on EU servers if that matters.

When I get back home I will give you a screenshot with me sitting in a cannon marked up not getting any damage.

Just as I promised, the screenshot prooving it still works. Debuff on the right side, and no damage shown by MSBT.
