[Discovery]Underneath Saurfang in ICC

Searched with keyword: 'Saurfang' and saw no results.

Was doing the weekly ICC run, and was extremely bored after having to heal gunship, so I decided to use my jetpack to fly around on saurfangs platform and thought, "Hey! Maybe I can go through the door and meet saurfang before we start the event!"

Thing is though... it worked. If you aim higher than the door, into what seems to be the outer border above the door you fly right through it.


If you go too far into this area it will teleport you back to the gunship teleporter platform. However, if while hovering in the air, you use your jetpack again and aim to fall straight through the door, you keep going and land on an invisible platform beneath the saurfang platform. Unfortunately we wanted to move on, and didn't want to wait or try anything from down here, but people were aiming at me with the gem cut lazer things, which leads me to believe that the floor was not line of sight. I didn't test either as we just wanted to move on with the instance.

It might be useful in bugging the encounter and causing beasts to evade for a few seconds, if you could get aggro on them down below. Giving your ranged a little longer to kill them (after it resets).

I only ran towards the gunship, and you could fall out of the wall near it and start to plummet downwards. I went as far as the giant ice spire into the center of the citadel (as soon in the above photo) but it might be possible to go further, or into some other places, given further exploration.

Pretty nice discovery.
I sadly, haven't even BEEN to Saurfang yet (Fenris US, don't join ICC pugs. They fail)

Good find but the crystal focusing lens' have never applied to line of sight and can be cast through any walls

I've done this a couple times already, you don't have to use that specific spot, any spot above the arch will do as well.
