Actually, in my experience, the price does not go up. In fact, in Hellscream-EU, the price of 1 eternal earth is only 3-4 gold, really freaking cheap. therefore, I can buy gems that are 1-1.7g ea, and still make about a gold profit. for each ring/necklace. But, one thing I DID notice was that every time I bought a lot of gems at once, the prices went up, and stayed up until the weekend. I would advise everyone to only buy gems in the weekend, as many people use auctioneer, and they post their auctions based on the prices that are listed.

actually on my server the price for eternal earth went down from 5g to about 3-4g per eternal since the latest patch and it keeps falling but the price for gems went up from 1g to 1,60g
nevertheless this method has become even more profitable for me since the latest patch

i assume this is because the eternals can be bought for frozen orbs leading to a higher supply and to falling prices but i cant imagen how somebody would buy a eternal earth instead of something more profitable for example eternal fire is worth 20g on my server

Was ALOT of all this stuff at my realm, bought 1000 EXACLY Eternal earth for 2,50g each.
That makes it 50s cost for one ring from Eternal earth.
And ofcourse I had around 200-300 green gems at a alt I just leveled jc and mining with.
But I bought so I had 1000+ Bought them for 1g each.
So that makes the cost of the ring 1,50g and vendor sells for 3,14
3,14 - 1,50 = 1,64
1,64 x 1000 = 1640g profit.
As we are speaking im buying more from trade etc.

This works when time is right. Sometimes it seems like someone else is buying all reags from ah and it price becomes too high for any profit and sometimes it drops incredibly low.

All I can say is...I hope this thread goes down quickly so no one on my realm sees it. LoL. At 20g a stack for Eternal Earth and 20g a stack for Green Gems...needless to say I'm making a killing. Thanks for the idea +Rep

here's a caluclator i made quickly in 5 minutes in Visual basic
WindowsApplication1.exe

just put in price of eternal earth per stack / price of gems per stack and click caluclate.

gives you profit per piece and profit per hour

Considering price on enchanting mats on my server it's better to vendor those crafts. Why, sometimes it's even better to vendor stuff from de'ing from heroics.
