I mine for a living and sell my ores direct, have mining paths and fortunately in my corner of the world in this odd hour no one is EVAR on. Therefore, may not apply for everyone when I say this, but I still don't understand what is wrong with mining.

Just an update on how this has worked out for me. When this thread was first posted I tried this method, I made a little bit of money the first two days but then afterwards I guess word caught on. The prices of gems skyrocketed and this was no longer profitable.

I was patient, kept on checking the AH each day buying a few that were actually selling for 1g or less. Then all of a sudden, after nearly two months, prices plummeted. I bought hundreds of gems for nothing, even started posting in trade and buying stacks for cheap once the supply ran out on the AH. I made 600g in around 25 minutes.

It does work!

also if no one responds to this , a smple addon is auctionator, whee it scans and find single itme prices like a stack of eternal earth is 100g it calculates its 5g per, which is rly helpsome with stones. Also its able to buy like 70 of stacks of ones in like one click

awesome man ! just awesome i have made like 2k in 2 days the bad part is that on my server the auction house doesnt have that much gems so i need to look for them on trade but its not bad! thanks again

gems are 8g per stack and eternals are 30g per stack on my server, needless to say I make A LOT of profit.

Wish this worked on my server, green gems here are 4-5g per.

An eternal on my server goes for about 1g each, although the gems go for just above 2g made over 50k gold on this, been doing it since it was posted though.
