It is aswell very new, and not many players using this. You could be a douchebag and simply ninja looting, but when your "Farming heroics" you sometimes visit the same players again. It is not that often, but it happens.

ahaha i did random heroics with a friend and he was a rogue i was on my hunter and we would ninja everything he ninajed a boe green with spell power and put it on the entire instance XD

Meh I don't really approve of this, I think it's a douchebag way to waste other peoples time.
Say for instance another guy is in the HC with his alt, needing the weapon that drops from the last boss, he'd hafto sit and wait for the roll to run out, or roll against you..

And Maggibesti, I would also call this common sense -> Chest on the ground (you're alone - you get all the lewt from the chest)

This isnt common sense, and no it isnt actually a "Ninja looting" and this wasnt pre-tbc(vanilla) cause this was released with patch 3.3 1 month ago.

I knew this since 1 week after 3.3 release. Simply you kill last boss everyone greeds/selects disenchanting and than you wait people will start leaving eventually and when the timer is running out on the item(if 1 or more are in grp waiting also) select disenchant if lets say 1 guy is still in the grp it is a 50/50, if everyone has left you'll win. So actually waiting 1 minute for 40-50g is kinda ok? I mean you go there for emblem farm/daily but why not earn your self a quick free abyss+dream shard just for waiting 1 min? And since you are saying this has been pre-tbc(vanilla) tell me how? The LFG system wasnt even back than, Heroics were'nt even back than, DISENCHANT roll's were'nt even back than, and if you are in a normal grp(not the lfg system one) and everyone selects greed and leave and than you wait till selecting greed you dont have a 100% chance on winning it , someone that has already heartstoned out and left the grp would mby win it, not in the Random LFG System.

As for common sense this depends on your IQ, for you I can see it being a little over your head, however for the rest of the forum who can add 2+2 its pretty simple.

This will only work if you can roll need (item fits your armor type), and every one else already rolled greed.

I have actually seen where some one disconnected on first boss, we wiped. We replaced that person and killed the boss. 6 people were eligible to loot when it came time to roll.

My suspicion is you can still receive loot even if you aren't in the instance or party.

It would make sense to prevent the ability to kick some one from a group as soon as the boss is dead and you are out of combat... to deny them loot.
