If you get hacked 3 times you will get permanently banned for failure to keep your account safe.

my acount got hacked in the past and even though they couldnt restore a lot of my items they still didnt give me any sort of compensation. im not saying it wont work, im just saying you shouldnt count on it. since the reward is so small for this level of risk/time i think you would be better of getting the emblems/gold legitimately and leaving the GMs to help people with real problems.

when i got hacked they sent me 2x everything i had before, even the thousands of saronite ore the guy farmed on my miner, was funny running around with 2 trinkets that were quest rewards ^^

Mostly when you get hacked it's gold farmers that wanna earn gold on your WoW Client. If you time it right (and with a bit of luck) you can change your password, log in, and there you have it! Thousainds of gold!!
