Don't bother doing this unless you plan on keeping the authenticator on your account.

Logged in 2 hours after doing this and none of my characters had the pet.

Just did it now and got the pet instantly. Eu realm.

Ok for all of you wanting to remove the authenticator, Make sure you remove BEFORE opening the ingame mail, opening before removing will remove your hound pup spell from the pets tab.

So add authenticator.

Go in game and check if the mail is there DONT OPEN!

Logout of game and remove authenticator.

Profit.

i started the exe from nihilium but nothing happens , i´am running windows 7 and tried it with "Run as Admin" and so on. Other Emulator´s are working, but the Screen is to small! -.-
any idea what i can do, to get the nihilium programm working?

works fine on win7 on other machines, so you must be doing something wrong or didn't download the file correctly (got currupt or something)

This pet has disappeared for me after I did this. I removed the authenticator so.

after removing the authenticator I learned the pet. Now, after a relog the pet is still in the inventory but when I try to summon it the message: "Spell not learned" pops up. So it worked once and now not anymore...

Currently you can't without keeping the authenticator attached to your account.

If you unattach the authenticator, the pet goes away. If you unattach the authenticator while the pet is still in the mailbox, you can temporarily hold onto the pet, but eventually you'll lose that too.

Blizzard's eventually gonna notice everyone's using the same authenticator as the serial number is the same for everyone as far as I can tell.

im not sure about regaining the pet but i know you can remove the auth and add another.

not openign mail does not work anymore... got pet removed after 6 or so hrs

using the method of keeping it on the mailbox, removing and then learning will keep the pet on your companion list, but you won't be able to summon him
