Blackwing Lair - Make thousands of gold

Hello, it has been a long time since I have contributed with something, and now is the time to add something new.

I have recently done Blackwing Lair (BWL) to get [Elementium Ore]. This drops from Blackwing Technician's and they are located in big packs after the 3rd boss. You need about 5 people to do this effective. 6-7 are reccomened.

The trick - To be sure you get ALL the ore for yourself. Make sure that you tell everyone you invite before that you will be taking all the ore because you are close to crafting [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]. Which of course is all lies :-).

These can drop from 0-10 in one run. I had 1 run where 0 dropped, I had 1 run where 4 dropped, 1 with 7 and 1 with 8.

They sell for minimum 400 Gold each. Don't put them any lower than that in the auction house. They will sell.

An average BWL run will take 1 - 1 and a half hour. This is massive money, and you will be able to experience vanilla WoW at the same time :-)

Fancied going there however i cant get thro the door to the upper spire, and as of 3.0.8 you dont need the ring, anything else i need to kno in order to get thro?

A better method that ive been using for ages and forgot to post is to get friends just to kill the 1st boss for you, and then Farm all the trash constantly. Extend the raid ID for further farming

Marzx, the trash won't drop the ore anymore, after you killed the pack once?

@ Ketrish - no one ever asked me to do that before. But if it's needed, just take the quest ID from wowhead and paste it in chat.

Aside from them not dropping it after a reset, how would one go about this? I've never run BWL through, but after having killed Razorgore, how would one progress past Vael without additional help? I've got a reset sitting on Vael and I don't believe I saw any way past him and it's like pulling teeth trying to get help on my realm.

soo if u kill all the packs that drops the ore u cant wait for respawn and kill them after?
