I would like to point out that this little guide will sound very much like
buahbleah's thread : http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...-one-week.html
and
Smirdzius' thread : http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...g-jc-ench.html
Both of which tells you to use JC and Enchanting to make green rings and D/E them into Infinite Dust or Lesser/Greater Cosmic Essence and sell those. I would like to approach it from a different angle. Yes you can make more money using both those crafting professions, but what about all those that have 1 gathering and 1 crafting, like Mining and Blacksmithing. Or better yet Mining and Enchanting, which I have. Now for this little guide you will need someone to help you unfortunately to make up the other crafting profession. Either find a friend that can craft the green item for you, or find a friend that can disenchant the item. Hell if you have Mining and Skinning, just find two friends that can do the crafting and disenchanting for you. The whole point is you want to make a green item that has a high yield of Infinite Dust 1-5 but requires very little mats to craft.
Well bring in Horned Cobalt Helm - Item - World of Warcraft and you see that it takes 8 Cobalt Bars to make. On my server the bars go for about 1g a piece average. But if you are a miner you don't even need to front any money. So that is basically 8g to make one helm or 0g if you get the ore yourself. But here is the kicker that helmet will yeild 1-5 Infinite Dust 75% of the time and 1-2 Greater Cosmic Essence 22% of the time. Which again on my server is around 3g per dust or 6g per Essence. Now that may not seem like a lot of profit but you are in a sense doubling your return if you make 2 helms and bought the bars and they yield 5 dust per, or all profit if you mined the ore yourself and had a bud craft/disenchant it. It took 16g to make but you sold the dust for 30g going with the theory you bought the mats instead of mined them yourself.
This is not a get rich quick guide. Hell this is probably common knowledge to some, but this is just a way of showing how you can have a steady income from any profession that will get you gold in the long term. Making gold in WoW is not as hard as some make it out to be. It just takes a little know-how and research in to all the mat prices and the different item yields.
