Mining+BS/250g per hour

I'm hoping/assuming this hasn't been posted before; apologies if it has.

NEEDED
Mining at 350/375 for Rich Cobalt Deposits
Blacksmithing at 360

FOREWORD
Basically I'm one of those people who doesn't really like the AH to make my money so I came up with a decent method to make quite an acceptable amount of g/h. Note that this doesn't include the time it will take to smelt/craft the item you'll be vendoring.

METHOD
The whole thing is very simple:


PART 1
You'll be mining cobalt in howling fjord/your preferred area; personally I enjoy howling fjord for the simplicity of the route.



I'm on a 280% flying mount and generally farm ~9 stacks of cobalt ore in an hour.

Once you've got your stacks of cobalt ore, head back to Dalaran(assuming this is your first time doing this and haven't got the recipe you'll be needing).

PART 2
Once at Dalaran make your way to Tanks for Everything located in the Magus Commerce Exchange. Coords 44,29.

From Alard Schmied, buy the recipe for Cobalt Triangle Shield
(Cobalt Triangle Shield - Item - World of Warcraft

Smelt all your cobalt ore into cobalt bars. This will take a while, so just browse around MMOwned while the smelting process is going on.

When done, make all the Cobalt Triangle Shields you can from the cobalt bars you just made. Again, this will take a while..

Vendor the shields and you're ready to do this again.

Stack of cobalt ore=Stack of cobalt bars
Stack of cobalt bars=5 Cobalt Triangle Shields at 5g54s each.
5 Cobalt Triangle Shields=27g70s

Thus, A stack of cobalt ore, with this method, will earn you nearly 28g, without the hassle of the AH.

NOTE
To all the people who are thinking: "But I can make lots more by auctioning the bars". You're correct of course, but this is merely an alternative way to make some gold.

Also, if your server's economy is wonky and you can buy cobalt ore/cobalt bars for 20g/stack, you can make an 8g profit from each stack you buy with this method.

cobalt is wacky on my server but great post i will definetly try it when it goes under.
