Well I rerolled druid for WoTLK and have learned quite a bit in this short time mostly addons that druids will love. I am giving the warning now I am resto so the focus will be resto But ill throw some feral and boomkin addons in here as well as a few macros = ).

-this addon show your mana regardless of form your in VERY useful no druid should be with out it.

III. Tips and Tricks
First ill start in General
-ALWAYS have omen of clarity in your spec Should be a given but ive seen druids with out it /facepalm
-When your not fighting your drinking NO matter the spec
-Always watch your cyclone DR and time other CC's around it

Resto tips
-Bait Blessing of freedoms with roots then use natures grasp after words
-NEVER tank dmg as bear thats what trees for in pvp bear is for stun thats it at 15% of base mana its not efficient way to tank
-pre hotting is your friend do it often and never in arena let you or ur partner run around un hotted
-Shield ur innervates with hots and buffs
-Dont even bother leaving tree versus melee EXCEPT to cyclone or root

Feral
-bleeds are a ferals best friend try to keep them up and mangle to help there dmg
-tanks never forget to use lacerate to hold aggro its the best ><
-Cat when unfocused Bear when focused generally a good rule common knowledge usually...

boomkin
-watch for Eclipse procs there HUGE dps boost in raids and pvp
-for melee keep your self hotted and in moonkin form asap to avoid dmg never run around in caster form unless theres a purpose.

Also here's a macro for a quick shift, pulls u out of form then back into form

Just change the name of the form to whatever form you want.

I think you misunderstood. If you have the talent that makes you have 100 energy upon entering cat form, this macro is good to keep energy up.

HealBot. Facemauler. FeralByNight. you forgot those addons. Omen should be on ANY pve dpsers addons. period.

Zankoku, Omen was needed in TBC and classic. Now it is a in-game threat meter. I'm using Omen and prefer this, but it is not 100% required.

I like Omen, mainly cuz my feral gear is above my tanks gear, and i tend to run close to pullaggro if im not careful.

Also helps that my 80% threat warning sound is Illidain "You Will Die". Helps me defocus on pure dps and focus on threat management. Cower? waste of 10 energy.



Diakonran, Restokitty (one of the few that i've met... seen ALOT more restokins and boomtrees)







EDIT: That and the ingame threat watcher (not even a meter) sucks balls. all it does is flash a red circle around your pic. 99% of the time i dont even look at my pic.

Yes, but sometimes you dont want to go to a different form, you just want to break the slow effect on you. I found this very helpful when tanking Keristrasza in Heroic Nexus or when you get a mage and warrior on you.

On thing that is amazingly helpful for healing is to make mouse-over macros for your spells. They work very well with Grid to not have to target anyone to heal them, just rest the mouse over their box in grid and hit the hotkey for a spell.
Ex. of a macro:
/cast [target=mouseover] insertspellnamehere

I also use these in conjunction with a modifier to make any spell I cast while holding alt target my focus target, which is useful for raid healing (I focus the main tank then) and for PvP, focus someone who you want to CC, it works similar to your focus target cyclone/roots macros but you can use it for any spell, like if you want to keep faerie fire up on a rogue or druid, etc. Using Bartender I think you can set it so that holding alt and casting a spell makes it target your focus but I can't remember for sure.
