Neat druid trick/macro

Ya know when you're carrying the flag in WSG and you get slowed/rooted? You have to cancel travel form and go back into it going at that slow 100% speed?
Now you dont have to! make a macro "/cast Travel Form" and it will shift you to travel form removing any slows/etc without making you go into tauren/night elf form!

It doesn't bring you out, making you have to hit it twice? I thought you needed to do something like this:

/cast Travel Form

Its not supposed to bring you out. You shift to travel form FROM travel form. The shift takes away the mana, and removes all roots/slows.

You need the /cancelform part if you plan on going from Cheetah to Cheetah without a break. A regular shift works only if you're going from a different form to a different form such as Bear to Cat.

Bear to cat would be:

(You're already in bear.)
/cast Cat Form - That's it. Or you could just click Cat Form once and it'd be instant.

Now going from travel to travel like the OP said would require:

/cancelform
/cast Travel Form

Additionally... a powershift would be (make sure you're in cat already):

/cancelform
/cast Cat Form

And bam, instant 40 Energy without a break. (Amazing for dps.)

Using cancelform is tricky though, in order to make them work you have to make sure you don't clip the end of a GCD or they won't work and you'll hit caster form.

WRONG. Try it. I've been using it for the past week without having cancelform anywhere in it with no problem.


---Go to cat form, wait for you to hit 100 energy, then simply type /cast Cat form.
Youll be in cat form but your energy will reset to 0, or 20, or 40 or whatever with talents/gear etc

Unless this allows you to not use any mana, which I don't think it does, this isn't really a exploit. Its part of the new functionality of 2.3, that is unless I missed something.

correct, this is NOT an exploit it is just how shifting works now, just like how you can use a macro to pot in bear form in a mere fraction of a second.
