For the Alliance! - Black War Bear

**The format is messed up due to typing this on notepad, sorry.

This guide will teach you the steps of how to get the
Black War Bear/achievement For the Alliance!. I will show you
where to start and what routes you should take, and the
    fights.

First off, I greatly recommend that you bring 40 people
total. As it will be a lot easier with the more people you
    have.

I would say you would want everyone to be 70+ but make
sure you have around 30 level 80's just to be safe.

    What you should bring:
    5-8 Healers
    2-3 Tanks
    Rest DPS

You are all going to want to gather in Astranar in
Ashenvale, as this will provide the easiest route to
    Thunderbluff.

When traveling you always want to stay together, this is
the golden rule inside cities ESPECIALLY. You always
want to stay in a group never stray off alone period.

    Cairne Bloodhoof:
For this fight, I would recommend you keep him inside
the hut because it can provide your raid cover from
incoming Horde attacks. Make sure the tank does not
have is back to the door as he can be knocked back
and Cairne will reset. What you want to do is have a
few people at the door fighting the incoming horde if
there are any, there might not be because Thunder Bluff
isn't a well populated city most of the time. This fight
    should be pretty easy.

    http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/7...rimmarcopy.jpg

    Thrall:
This is probably going to be the hardest fight.
Considering the Orgrimmar is always packed and you
have to deal with the Vol'Jin also. You can also try sticking
to the far left of the room so you do not pull Vol'Jin. After taking
the side entrance and you finally reach Thrall you are going
to want a tank on the troll boss. What you are going to
want to do is make sure to fend off incoming horde so I
would recommend you put a few good strong DPS at the
entrance and make sure the rest is focused on Thrall
besides the tank on the Troll boss. Once done, take the
    zeppelin to Undercity.

    http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/9931/undercitycopy.jpg

    Lady Sylvanas Winderunner:
For this fight, you are going to of course want people at
the entrance as Undercity is usually heavily populated
also. She summons a bunch of skeletons which should be
AOE'd down, and besides that just your general tank and
spank fight. Once you have killed her, head out on out to
Tirisfal Glades where you will head towards Silvermoon.

    http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/707...ermooncopy.jpg

    Lor'themar Theron:
For this fight you are going to want a tank on Grand
Magister Rommath while killing Theron. Once all the
guards are dealt with you want all focus on Theron. Its
just general tank and spank fight, and you really don't
need to worry about Horde, Silvermoon City is a ghost
town. Once he is killed, congratulations on your Black
    War Bear!

Now just hearth and get your Black War Bear mount
from the mail, and there you go. I hope this guide helped!

I'm horde, so can't check it out, but guess it might be useful for allies
Orgrimmar is totally overpopulated anyway, so a tip would be to clear all the hordies before engaging thrall, and then set the top dps's in the entrance to his chamber.

Yeah, that is pretty much mentioned in my guide. I am mainly a horde player also, but I wanted to make a guide for alliance because there is already one for Horde if you search for it.

Hmm, I guess not. I've never actually used it but I figured they would be able to, I'll have to edit my paths in a little bit. Thanks for the notice.

Heh my server's raids for this is much easier.
    1. 3 tank and 5 healers, and dps.
    2. Go to Thunderbluff, Undercity, Silvermoon, and Orgrimar.
    3. Walk out while killing EVERYTHING in the city.
    4. ???????
    5. PROFIT!
And yes my server does it like that.

That works, but that's too much bouncing back and forth. I think it would be more organised if you just take one fluent path like I showed.

Vol'Jin has an extremely small aggro radius. I've defended against Alliance raids where they didn't even aggro him by staying on the far left side, you should probably mention that in the Thrall section.

Change the order that you should fight the bosses in. Get a warlock alt by every city to summon people. You're correct in starting in ashenvale for Orgrimmar, but that should be first.
    Next, summon to Thunder Bluff.

When fighting Cairne, tell your tank to stay with his back to the far side of his tent while tanking. Cairne has a large knockback that can knock the tank out of his tent, which resets Cairne.

    Undercity next
You got everything right for this

    Silvermoon last
You got everything right for this

Why not link the bosses in wowhead, so people can see all their moves?

Great guide overall, +Rep from me
