It has come to my attention that you can change your toon's name in World of Warcraft....here's how it's done.

First off, WoW allows you to "restore" your character up to 5 times after a deletion. So don't get too frightened. And by all means do your own research before attempting this. I did it, and it worked fine for me....but that was about a week ago. No problems since then so it seems good. But again, always better to do your own research as well!

Here's how it's done.

1. Delete your character.
2. Ask a friend to make a new character with your character's name.
3. Restore your character, at this point WoW will prompt you to select a new name, since your character's name has already been used by someone else!

This is a good way to "disappear" in the game, make a new life, rep.........or just change a stupid name you never thought you'd actually keep up to level 60-70.

Or you Could tell the GM That in your Language (Russian,German etc.) Antrubia(ex.) Means Ass Dick or sometin else.
Blizz must change the name as this is in their Name Policy.

Sounds like a good idea, but the thing is the more people who do this , the less likely it is to work.

I tried this before...he restored my toon with the same name, and my friends toon was NAMExyz

This does not make it a companies name....You have to get it registered ect... Also does not work unless the GM fails.

Most GM's will be reasonable & sheep-ish and change your name so they don't get in trouble.

I remember hearing a story about a guy who got a free name change for telling the GM his name was a very vulgar, and derogatory slur to his friends religion.

Just proves how Blizzard GM's are sheep
