Hi,
Don't know wherelse to put this, if you gonna move/delete... let me know where to post this:
So, we actually did this in our guild before wotlk hit. We had the content clear and were just waiting for the addon to launch. Well.. right now, the same is happening pretty much.
Sarth 3d + Maly 6min + Naxx25 could be done on one raidday in about 4-5 hours. We put them on 2 raiddays out of 3 just so we don't get too bored.
So anyways.. what can you do on a raidday when everything has been cleared.
Well.. we did the following and it was probably the most fun we had in a long time:
- We launched a gnome-duelling-tournament. You get about 2-3 observers/referees and the rest should be creating a gnome. The goal for everyone is to level their chars as fast as possible, they can group up or whatever. They got 1 1/2h time to level.
- No help from higher-lvl chars is allowed, no mailing from alts etc. The referees should give their best to check, that noone is cheating.
- After 1 1/2 sharp, everyone will be invited to a raidgroup and has to log out, so they can't do anything anymore.
- Then a warlock is invited to the raidgroup and he'll port one gnome after another. After everyone is gahtering in Ironforge, they'll be given 5g to buy as much gear/elixiers/foodbuff as they can afford. They have 5mins to do this.
- After the time is up.. everyone gathers in front of Ironforge. The referees start to roll 1-25 or how many gnomes there are competing for the match-ups. The duells will be played "best out of 3" so whoever wins twice.
- Winners advance, losers will get in the losers-pool and maybe will have to duell again if theres an uneven number in winners. So just roll twice again and they should duell a best out of 3 for the lucky loser spot or something.
- Proceed to quarterfinals, semifinals and finals
- The prizemoney can go from as low as 100g for the winner up to a thundra mammoth if you tried my gold guide
You are probably asking, why gnomes?
Well..
1. They look cool
2. Gnomes are the only races that don't have a healing class that you can chose from
Anyways..
Have fun on your gnome-tournament
Cheers
