Warlock: Demonic circle uses

I made this thread a small guide and discussion to the many uses of (what some people call useless) spell named: Demonic Circle

As most of you know by now, this spell is split into to, a create spell and teleport spell.

{Warning, this part of the guide should be common knowledge}
To use this skill, you first have to stand where you want the circle to appear and use the "Create" spell. This will create a "demonic circle" where you are standing! gogo do this now :P it looks cool and you then move away then click the other Demonic Circle (teleport) spell to magically teleport into the circle!




Well I have found a few uses for this spell!


1: in Naxxramas on the boss Thadius, after you have killed the minibosses put a circle at the edge of the jump, this will give you 2 tries just in case you fall into the goo below.


2: same boss, when actually fighting Thadius put the circle at one of the sides (I normally choose the + side) and when I have to go from minus to plus I can get across even faster.


3: Sartharion boss fight: Put the circle in one of the gaps where the lava comes, if its that gap you have to go in, it will take less time to get there, making it less likely for you to fail.


4: Grobbulus: when you get infected, quickly put down a circle before running out of the area, you can then teleport back fast without any chance of running through gas


5: Malygos: at the begining of the fight, put down the circle in the centre of the area, when the group gets taken up by the vortex, you can teleport back down and continue to DPS






if you have any more or I have wrote something wrong (boss names maybe? O___o) please tell me and yes! these are all raid uses so far :P

hehe its one of those things, whenever im in a boss fight, I sit there trying to think of ways to use demonic circle to make it just that little easier xD
I would LOVE it if a PvP warlock would send me some for PvP so I can add that (I only raid)

Well, in SoTa near a cannon thing, jump down, shadowflame (70% reduce next patch) & back up...
WSG to guard/take the flag
in AB near the powerup, inside the house or something.. (the little stable "house" is nice to bandage in)
EOTS when you're chased by a melee, jump down somewhere & back up
& more..

In EoE, you can use it in Phase 1 when you get thrown in the air :-), so you don't get damage and you can continue dps'ing

Dont forget the pipe boss in Naxx : D. When bored drop it on the pipe jump down and port back up. For fun in nexus jump off the edge after the ethreal boss and port up to see how many follow you thinking they are going to land on a ledge and actually fall to their death. Yes im cruel and i know it

Thanks for the Thaddius - to +. I did the jump across thing just in case but was too dumb to think about using it during the fight. Maybe 5800+ dps was causing me to be too giddy. Can't wait to see what I do when I get some more gear. This will help me crank out more when I have to change sides. Thanks.

np I will try look for other various ones

I have another tip but its not Demonic Circle xD

when you jump down to fight gluth, get your eye out then desummon it to teleport your minion down without wasting a shard this works for anywhere if ur minion gets stuck
