Easy Green Scepter Shard

This is aimed primarily at people who have been working on the AQ Gates chain recently.

As you know, the final step in the Green Scepter Shard portion of the AQ Gates chain is to defeat Eranikus in the Moonglade. Keeper Remulos gives you the quest, called "The Nightmare Manifests" and summons Eranikus and who spawns a whole pile of Shades which are quite nasty when you're alone.

However, currently Moonglade is full of people doing the Lunar Festival. Greengoo posted a great thread last year about using this to destroy masses of lowbies, and that still works. But this year with most of us being 80, it is a little less amusing, but it is helpful for those of us who aren't doing old quests with a group of likeminded players. So rather than rounding up a bunch of people to help you (which most people will know is difficult for this sort of thing) you just start the quest and follow Keeper Remulos. When the shades start spawning everywhere, both factions go nuts killing them. All you have to do is hang out in the house with Remulos and kill the few shades that come in there (and usually you'll have help). Only three shades attacked him the entire time I was there, and he heals himself well enough that it's easy as pie. Eventually Eranikus will become active and start killing people. I'm Alliance and I watched on gleefully as a Horde tank picked him up and sat roffling as the horde helped me complete my quest.

Do it at primetime on your server for the greatest effect, and if you like it, take Greengoo's advice and drop the quest instead of handing it in so you can do it a few times! Have fun.
