Strat - Easy Large Brilliant Shards

[Enfeebleness]

On my realm, Large Brilliant Shards go for roughly 10-12g each.

What does this mean?
Easy, almost no effort needed farming.


I don't like to actually play my 70 much, i prefer to PvP on alts, however money is still needed. I'de rather not spend a full day to get some money, but i'de still prefer it to be easy, and still actually GET some gold. This works out well

Requirements: None really, you need to be able to avoid and not aggro mobs though. Very easy to do at 70 (haven't tried prior-70), can probably manage it earlier with stealth though.

Steps:
-Enter Strat
-Open gate
-Head left through path
-Once you exit the little tunnel, look to your left, look for ONE yellow name. This is Hearthsinger.
-If he's not there, look to your right, under a little roof, he may also be there.
-If not, run towards your right, following the path, and being sure not to aggro. You may activate a trap box, doesn't do much, if they spawn the little mobs move a little farther along and kill them. Mages, -if you AoE them, MAKE SURE YOU WON'T HIT A GROUP- (I've done it >.<; my frost nova does it in the video to a civilian).
-Wait for the pats (their is 3 that wander in that area, if you go into the corner to the far left you can avoid all of them. One will get VERY close to you, but will not aggro.
-Go through the archway you're next to, run into the middle, then blink. A mini-boss and a few extra easy-to-kill adds are spawned. Frost mages- they have HIGH frost resistance. It is incredibly hard to get a successfull frost nova off on this group, and you usually end up aggroing pats or extra groups in your attempts to AoE. If done right, the group will spawn, but you are out of the aggro range of them. The adds take off in one direction, your boss, The Unforgiven, will head towards you. Pull him, kill him, you -MAY- aggro an add as you kill him. Just deal with some damage or ice barrier through it, kill them, and continue on if you haven't killed Hearthsinger yet.
-Go around the big group, and towards your first building to your right, Hearthsinger may be there as well (he is in the video), right next to the stairs. If he is not, look farther down, he is under a little roof, sitting all alone, use a ranged attack (mages- ice lance) to pull. He's an easy kill, he can hit in the low hundreds, nothing huge.

HEARTHSINGER MOVES
-He has a bow he will use
-If you're too close to him, will just start punching you.
--Bow i believe hits for a bit more, but slower than him punching.

UNFORGIVEN MOVES
-A frost nova
--His frost nova is pretty pointless, he doesn't move back or anything after he uses it. Just continue to kill him. Chances are it will get resisted anyway.

HEARTHSINGER DOES **NOT** AGGRO OTHER MOBS
Any mobs that are right next to him will **NOT** be aggroed in you pulling him, unless you hit those monsters as well. Feel free to pull him to you worry-free of adds.

UNFORGIVEN HOWEVER
does aggro other mobs i belive. Won't be running into a ton of them for it to matter though, at most a pat. I've never actually payed attention however, if the mob was just aggroed to me, or if it was trying to aid Unforgiven.

If you really wanted to, you could just kill one of the mobs. Two of Hearthsinger's spawns are honestly about 30 seconds away from the enterance. Just killing Hearthsinger, leaving, resetting, repeating for the 5 resets, you can get 5 shards in about, honestly, 8 minutes or so.

Fun in the AH, making a big mass of people dance, and then watching late-comers to you using it, come in, feel dumb, and /dance, not even knowing why the others are actually dancing.

It's BoE, may sell for more than a shard would, depends though. Look at your AH if nothing else. If it goes for more, sell the gloves. Same price, don't bother. Less, buy them, DE

Yeah, it's terribly done. Haven't done a movie in about a year or so, and those movies were made as a tutorial for my team in UT2K4. And yeah, i do a ton of random crap things, and lots of mistakes, whatever, you get the point :P

The character is equipped with NOTHING but random crap i got from quests leveling to 70, and one random drop for frost damge.

If you can stealth you can also kill 2 more boss's here which = 40g in about 10 mins :P

Yeah, you can kill a lot more bosses in the instance, but i was going mainly for getting the shards real fast.


If you're stealthed though yeah, you can go directly to a few extra bosses, however as a mage, well, i can't so :P

get some Invisibility potions. they shouldnt cost much. the extra shards u get will most likely pay for a stack and u might have some gold left over
