Wotlk Fishing + I wana Fishbot!

I have a question which is a pretty nooby one. Does everybody who uses this use it on the official realms and what are the chances of being banned for it?

I assume you mean the fishing bot, since I doubt you can get banned for fishing only

From what I know, the fishing bot isn't detected by Warden at the moment, so the only risk of banning becomes from being reported by other players. You should check the places mentioned in the guide to see if they are crowded or empty. If there aren't people around, you should safely be able to fish and no one will bother you. You might want to put on /dnd with some fake reason though, so people on your friend list or guild won't bother you either.

If you are unsure, you can leave the bot fishing and stay near the computer so if someone whispers you, you can whisper them back and seem like you're doing all the fishing by yourself.

I've fished overnight, during the day and all over northrend, outland and azeroth for a year now and have not gotten a single warning, suspension or ban.

Yeah, wailing caverns is the most common, because it has a 0% ban rate, unless someone in your guild sees you've been in there for 78 hours or if someone /who 's your name every 5 minutes for 78 hours

Plus, deviate fish sells for a nice amount on most servers, due to it's AWESOMENESS
