Swapping newly dropped BoP items with friend

the times i misslooted an item all i needed to tell the gms whas wich item it was in what instance and to whom it sposed to go to other then that nothing more. maby time but the assume mostly you ticket it pretty much instantly or within the 2~3 hours

I tried something similar

My girlfriend was in heroic Gundrak, and since I hate that place, I stay as far as way from it as possible.
However, me being a rogue, the leather pants from the last boss in there seems nice.
Now, back to her again. She was in there, pew pews the boss etc, and of course they drop (typical) :>

She pressed Greed and actually won them. I tell her to try something, even though I know it's not going to work.

Then she writes a ticket, and BAM! She just had to delete them and I recieved them in my mail, nothing about raid IDs

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but we made sure not the mention my name in her ticket, since we figured they might to some checking before actually answering the ticket :>

So, it might work. Depending on the GM I think

EDIT: This was EU, not sure if it makes any difference though.
