cant do it as resto... u get hit for 5-6k every shot... and i only hav 16k hp so u get owned in 3 shots...

I actually got it on my first try using this method. It was great, I was just hanging out slowly killing him then he died and I looted and got the mount. My guild saw the achievement and was like OMGGGGGGGGGGG

Hi, this doesn't seem to be working for me. When I initially cast hots on the eagle, the eagle doesn't enter combat. Is his entering combat based on where I am in the room? Because that's the only explanation I can think of unless I'm doing something else wrong...

I just did it and it works ( still ) 2 bad it takes u about 40min to dps him down this way.

Since i didnt read all the pages i dont know if some1 already wrote this, but u can put macro on button bar and set autoclick to click that button every 6sec ( coz of lag and stuff ) so it will always keep HoT on spirit. Then u can spend some 30+min doing something else ( watching TV, drinking, eating... )
