Blacksmithing - 375-425 Made Extremely Easy(Profit)

Today, I finally hit 375 blacksmithing on my new warrior. WOW did it take a lot of time and gold. I figured the road to 450 would be worse. But, I found a GREAT recipe to get from 375-425 making the same item!!!

Yup. For only 4 Cobalt Bars (Cobalt Orex4), you can get from 375-425. Obviously, when you hit yellow/green it isn't a guaranteed point but none the less, its a VERY cheap item to make.

Where to get it?

Since the recipe is BoP, you will have to farm it. Wowhead says its a 1% drop rate but thats wrong. They are calculating ALL kills but this recipe only drops for blacksmiths. I got mine after about 25 kills.

Notes - PROFIT POTENTIAL

On my server. Cobalt Ore sells for 50 gold for a stack of 20. In that stack of 20 I can make, 5 of these. The chest pieces you make can be disenchanted and with the right luck, you could break even or better yet, PROFIT off this.

Disenchanting

75% Chance - Infinite Dust x 3.5
20% Chance - Greater Cosmic Essence x 1.5
5% Chance - Dream Shard x 1


My Server = 9-10 Gold Per Chest Piece

Infinite Dust x1 = 6 Gold
Great Cosmic Essence x1 = 25 gold
Dream Shardx1 = 25g

AT THE VERY LEAST YOU BREAK EVEN! Profit Potential for sure!

In the patch they made this recipe 8 bars and 2 crystallized water. Still has profit potential and easy to skill up.

Glad you liked it. Its truely amazing. I just bought every stack of ore on the auction house about 6 hours ago at 50-60 gold a stack. I spent about 1,000 gold which made 80 of them. I now have about 1,300 gold in enchanting materials and my blacksmithing is up to 425. It seems to good to be true!

I'm now up to 3,000 Gold Profit. Sometimes, I can sell infinite dust for about 200g a stack. and cobalt prices are going down.

Thanks. Yeah its amazing. But for most profit, save all your materials and sell when the times is right. I still have over 500 Inifite Dust in my bag because I don't want to inflate the market. So, I will post 3-4 stacks at a time and about 10 greater cosmic at a time.

Great post and plus rep, just wanna add a suggestion also if ur not high enough yet to farm the basin u can go to dragonblight and farm the onslaught masons who drop the the shoulder equiv to this chest piece. thought id through that in to the other BSers coming up!
