OK, so RAF threads have been done to death, but this one is, slightly, different.
Let's say, for example, that you have a limited number of spaces available on your veteran account, but want to dual-box yourself with RAF on the last several toons.
More likely, you have some mid-level alts, 21st, 35th, or 45th level or so, Most of us have those alts that we just don't have time for, right?
Since dual-boxing RAF requires you to stay within 4 levels of each other you'll either have stair-stepping and leveling difficulties trying to dual box three+ toons, or you'll have to do multiple RAF toons to keep up. Unless there was a way...
Scenario: You have one slot on your veteran account left and too much crap on your alts to delete one.
You have an alt sub-30, maybe more than one.
Here's the plan: Create a new RAF toon and new veteran toon that can play together well.
Play those two to +4 levels from your lowest veteran toon. If your lowest alt is 21, level to 25 and stop.
Then group up the 21 and 25, and kill the 25. Suicide IS the answer!
Have the RAF ghost follow the lowest level toon and triple his questing XP while gaining none of his own, do this until the lowbie is +4 levels from the RAF.
Then back to leveling the original pair, if needed, or level another lowbie alt the same way. This keeps the RAF pair on the same level, same quests, and same XP. Everyone knows dual-boxing the same quests is best run for the money.
This method can be used to get that level 30.9 toon ready to be gifted when the dual-boxed toons hit 60, or to prep multiple lowbies.
At higher levels this works to shorten the 52-60 run for other toons that can't be granted levels, just leave the RAF drone at 56 and have him be a ghost-whore for multiple alts.
I've even thought about having multiple toons in stair-step on the RAF account, each set for 8 levels, but that would be a pain to set up and would only be useful if you are leveling many, many toons. I'd only recommend that if you're selling toons or something.
Getting the most out of that triple XP, I think this can do it.
