[Tip] How to Not Get Ganked While Leveling

Recently I've started playing on a PvP server (see my signature) and of course, I've been ganked a lot. However, I have found a way to NOT get ganked that is very easy, and common sense but many people don't think to do it.

It's really easy and has saved me lots of ganks, if you see an opposite faction by you and they either have you targeted, or are really close to you, just /wave at them!

Okay now some of you may be thinking "Okay no shit of course, but they'll still probably gank you"

Not necesarrily. It's kind of a pycological thing, 90% of the time they'll wave back and leave you alone. However I've found this really only works with lower levels, it can work with higher levels but it usually doesn't.

The /wave gestures that you're either a nice person who's not worth killing or that you wouldn't kill them or attack them. This is kind of a dumb post but whatever, I'm bored, tired, and sick. I hope you guys can actually use this and hope it saves you hours of walking back from the GY.

This definately is something that can work, and in fact a lot. it is reverse physcology, a form of verbal irony (for all you english freaks) it shows that you know they are there, which alone makes killing someone far less satisfying, and it shows that you dont care and it wont effect you. Although, some, though few, may take it as a taunt and kill and camp, but those are normally 10 year old alliance kids who have way to much time on their hands and choke their chicken to WoW

    Do it in battlegrounds.

You'll quickly find out that not everyone has mental ADD when they realize the resto druid with the resto weapon and holy enchant..... PROBABLY won't burst you down.

    Especially as you're dancing.

Yet somehow still a good 90% will still attack you.

Quite true. As an alliance level 70 discipline priest in S3 , I can be found dancing at lumber mill, when it's in horde possession. No horde are there, yet as soon as a single cookie cutter ret pally spawns and sees me /dance'ing, /love'ing, /hug'ging, and /silly'ing decides I'm a huge threat and tries to kill me. In defense, you kill the pally, then get stunlock gangbanged by the 2 rogues in S4.

Sometimes I can get away with dancing with a single horde for a bit. Then when the Alliance tries to take it over, I somehow die even though I'm cowering behind the hay crate.

As he said, it works best as lower levels.

I loved doing this with lower levels, and even when I was higher level than others, I'm still a nice guy and I don't usually gank people

It might work, but TBH this is a pretty dumb post lol.

    I commend your efforts though.

Avoid getting ganked? That's all a PVP server actually offers though! There's no extra world PVP (in fact its better on PVE servers in my experience), just gank after gank after gank. /me cries and runs to his carebear server

P.S. Parking your 70 in the same zone as your lowbie helps as well
