You can't buy out auctions on your own account to prevent people back in the day from just putting their items up in the AH on their alts and buying em out quick on their mains to bypass the 1 hour mail wait. They could put an item up from one faction on their account, but wouldn't be able to buy it on their own faction from a different character, because its on the same account.

You need 2 accounts to do this, period, whether pve or pvp.

What he does, if I understood it correctly, is getting a horde player to buy something he puts (as alliance player) on the neutral AH. He does the emote (as alliance) to the horde player that wants the item so the horde knows it is listed in AH and he gets the profit. So there is no need for him to buy his own items on neutral AH.

make two accounts (i know its not teh easiest thing on live server but if you play on private then this is easy, but it can be done on live server too)
log on the other account and sell to the opposite faction (e.g. buy a rock for 1000g on alliance and sell it for 1300g on horde... its clear and 300g profit)

Indeed.. this only works with 2 accounts.. a colleguea of me did this for like 2 months.. with 2 accounts... result like 10k gold... He didnt play much though only making money for a few weeks

you fail. He clearly says that you tell you make an alt on the other faction and FIND a buyer and tell them to go to a neutral AH and buy the item.

I have been doing this for yonkers. If you have lots of gold atm the biggest mover and shaker is to move sunwell trash patterns between the horde and alliance (but it may take a while to sell). My average profit per item is 4000g a pop but I only move wanted stuff like the tank or dps patterns. Have not seen sunfire robs or wraps yet
