Considering that almost everyone has T9 Unholy would be your choice because of the set bonus.

It depends on your level and class role. Try to specify what you are looking for. If you are leveling I'd say go for Unholy. There is basically no downtimes for regen, nice survability and dmg output.

Whats the best spec for a DK right now?

Leveling my DK alt now and he is specced Unholy, like was mentioned. The downtime is non-existant. Would be good to just stick with Unholy completely.

Switch that leveling spec to a more profitable 80 dps spec when you can.

I have a geared 80 blood DK and I do 9k dps in 10 man raids

Endgame wise, unholy is considered the best spec. It can compete with blood on single target and out dps's it on aoe (it also pretty much out dps's any other classes aoe).

Spec wise, when patch 3.3.3 is released frost will overtake blood as the best sub spec due to the buff of icy talons (considered a 200dps increase over blood subspec with reaping). Therefore the best talent spec would be a 0/17/54

Finally the single target rotation of this would be :-

PS – IT – BS – SS – BS – DC – HoW
SS – BS – SS – BS – DC – DC– (DC)

Tbh, when you hit 2 part T10 you should deffinetly go unholy, honestly I dont know why but look at every reasonable dk with these 2 parts there dps is beast and its basically what every paragon/ensidia dk uses.

you have 4 points left over to play with so do as you please with them. I put 2 in black ice to finish it and 2 in blood caked blades.

I've gotten around 12k - 13k DPS in HMs and 9k in 5 mans
