    Holy Pala Build - PvP help

    Has anyone got a gd updated arena spec for a holy pala? Im looking to play in the arena tournament with and would like to know a gd spec for survivabilty and good healing. Can anyone provide me with one?

    It depends. What bracket of arenas are you playing in? If you are playing 2s, I would go for the typical 52/0/19 build, whereas if you are running 3's/5's and you have another healer running with you, I would go a bit farther down in ret for CC. I'd be willing to post some builds if you let me know what ya needed exactly. Good luck!

    Personally I would use this spec to go full out healing and have your best blessings improved. Also you get Blessing of Kings into it (Improved) which can be good in some tight spots, when you need to max out life for survivaility.

    Level 80 Paladin (58/6/7)

    Holy (58 points)


    Spiritual Focus - Rank 5/5
    Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Flash of Light and Holy Light by 70%.

    Healing Light - Rank 3/3
    Increases the amount healed by your Holy Light, Flash of Light and the effectiveness of Holy Shock spells by 12%.

    Divine Intellect - Rank 5/5
    Increases your total Intellect by 15%.

    Unyielding Faith - Rank 2/2
    Reduces the duration of all Fear and Disorient effects by 30%.

    Illumination - Rank 5/5
    After getting a critical effect from your Flash of Light, Holy Light, or Holy Shock heal spell you have a 100% chance to gain mana equal to 60% of the base cost of the spell.

    Improved Lay on Hands - Rank 2/2
    Gives the target of your Lay on Hands spell a 50% bonus to their armor value from items for 15 sec. In addition, the cooldown for your Lay on Hands spell is reduced by 4 min.

    Improved Concentration Aura - Rank 3/3
    Increases the effect of your Concentration Aura by an additional 15% and reduces the duration of any Silence or Interrupt effect used against an affected group member by 30%. The duration reduction does not stack with any other effects.

    Improved Blessing of Wisdom - Rank 2/2

    Holy Power - Rank 5/5
    Increases the critical effect chance of your Holy spells by 5%.

    Light's Grace - Rank 3/3
    Gives your Holy Light spell a 100% chance to reduce the cast time of your next Holy Light spell by 0.5 sec. This effect lasts 15 sec.

    Holy Shock - Rank 1/1
    Blasts the target with Holy energy, causing 1296 to 1402 Holy damage to an enemy, or 2401 to 2599 healing to an ally.

    Places a Blessing on the friendly target, increasing total stats by 2% for 10 min. Players may only have one Blessing on them per Paladin at any one time.

    Increases the effectiveness of Blessing of Kings by an additional 8%.

    Guardian's Favor - Rank 1/2
    Reduces the cooldown of your Hand of Protection by 60 sec and increases the duration of your Hand of Freedom by 2 sec.

    Benediction - Rank 5/5
    Reduces the mana cost of all instant cast spells by 10%.

    Improved Blessing of Might - Rank 2/2
    Increases the attack power bonus of your Blessing of Might by 25%.

    Modify as needed.

    I will take any improvements, because I am working on it aswell.
    It has proved useful on privat servers, aswell as retail. My arena buddy (2's) is using it and has no complaints. In 3's there is a small problem, because of survivability and lack of CC-players. 5's again shows no real problems, if you use a good team, that knows how to CC and cut out players form the match for a short time.

    I thought that Blessing of Kings "r poonage" in pvp?

    That's atleast what I used in TBC for arenas and our team was like one of the best on the realm...

    depending on how you play the arena, you need different blessings.
    here you have them all improved (also kings) so i hope this kinda helps.

    It's actually Hand of Freedom/Sacrifice, nowadays. So buffs and those two go togheter.

    Idk, personally I played Holy/Ret (Replenish) 34/0/37 -- for the small fact of if you're playing with 2 burst classes That extra CC allows the trinket usage or even a gib - IN an example, if you use hammer on a pally with divine purpose for a Cc, he'll just freedom out (unless you stun in middle of a heal) Trinket may be used or.. repentence to force trinket, then hammer, regaurdless whatever class you're playing with 2's 3's 5's you need mana efficiency to assure you're not going oom when you're needed the most.
