Unmerging a BNet account.

As I understand it, if you unmerge a Battle.net account after transferring a character,
then said character is returned to original account and the password is restored to the PW that was used pre merger as well.

But what happens if the battle.net account is perma banned and you then call into blizzard and remove it from your bnet account?

I highly doubt this will unban your account,
but if someone with a scammed or legit perma banned account could give blizzard a call tomorrow at 1-800-59-blizzard
and have it removed from their BNet account and then report back here,
I would be very appreciative!
