I'm suffering from the same problem.
Got firstname and first letter of his lastname.
Got postcode and city.
Tried looking for him in a online phonebook, but didn't find anything.
Halp plx.

Yah I used Whitepages, ratio is 11 found, 15 un found...
Blizzard nurfed the "try lastname with trial accs" thingie.
Is there any other way to confirm the lastname? Would be expensive to buy 100 accounts and try different lastnames until a match is found.
I scammed a finnish account, try to guess the right lastname.:yuck:
I tried searching after one of the characternames + server, ended up at some finnish pokemon forum, lol.
I had an idea this morning, what if you submit a online form about something, let's say a billing form and you whine about some paymentmethod isn't working. In the end of your message you tell them to reply to blabla@w/e.com since your old e-mail isn't working or something.
How do they begin their messages? What if they begin it with a "Dear, Name~". Maybe?

My personal method was when scamming the person (using a WTS scam) was asking if they were the OO (usually say yes) once I get there paypal I send them 1 dollar for "security" reason. You see there first and last name on the paypal account and it usually matches the wow account. If not then simply ask them for the name and last name. Hope this helps
Yah, however Sineater, I have like 15 accounts with only password and username therefore I have to find their real name. Lucky for me I have around 28 full info accounts... Aswell as 11 found surnames.
Hmm, do you really need it? You will get it when you get the account.
In some cases, I have success with searching in facebook or other sites like it.
