giving out accounts for rep. It's wrong, and people are getting sick of it. Go earn rep from contributing please, it's how this website is suppose to work. when people sell there account for rep, it gives them the advantage that most people have to work hard to get.

I mean seriosuly, I can see over 5 threads giving away free accounts on the first page of the scamming section. its not right.

Yes. It is a Scamming Section. Not a 'Give Your Scammed accounts away here!' Section. You can get more then just giving them away. You can even sell them.

Because you never know the real reason why they give away an account, some might just do it because they're nice. Hence it would give more drama.

I agree fully. This shit needs to stop. A Moderator really needs to do something about it. One person started, then a bunch of other idiots thought it'd be a good idea. Half of these aren't even real accounts, and just a way to get easy rep. This is a discrase the the scamming section.. =( I've reported half these threads and hardly anything has been done.

Its still giving out an account for rep, but you know what, who cares. Because everyone knows that you rep traded for all of your rep.

I have gave away one account, honestly i see no problem in people doing it.

I dont ask for rept and ive seen that many of the threads dont do it ethier. Its the account reciever's choice if he wish's to +Rep.

This site is about manipulating World of Warcraft to your advantage, given any means necessary. That's why there is an entire SECTION of the forum devoted to scamming. Now people are bitching because people want to give accounts back to the community?

It's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. If people want to give accounts back to MMOwned as a whole, I say let them. There's nothing wrong with someone who wants to contribute to the COMMUNITY by giving an account or two back.

Look at it this way. If someone (anyone, leecher or not) uses the information here on MMOwned to scam/steal an account, and turns around and gives it back to the community, isn't that worth praise? Even if people are only doing it for +Rep, isn't that ok?

Long story short, quit your bitching. This site is about sharing. Whether it be scams/exploits/accounts/anything, what right do YOU have to limit what is shared? What's wrong with taking the next step?

EDIT: As of yet I haven't seen a SINGLE reason why people shouldn't give accounts out for +Rep. Think of it as a way for users who don't normally contribute to the 'traditional' MMOwned way (i.e. scams/exploits/whatever) to try to earn their keep. If you have a problem with that then there's something wrong with you.
