    Greetings!

    It has come to our attention that you are trying to sell/trade your personal World of Warcraft account.
    As you may or may not be aware of, this conflicts with the EULA and Terms of Agreement.
    If this proves to be true, your account can and will be disabled. It will be active for further investigation by Blizzard employee's.
    Blizzard may consider taking legal actions against your crime, if it seems too be of an extreme nature.

    This action has been taken because we at Blizzard Entertainment take these sales
    very seriously. We need to confirm you are the original owner of the account.
    This is done easily by confirming your personal information along with the concealed information about your account.
    You can confirm that you are the original owner of the account by replying to this email with:

    Use the following template below to verify your account and information via email.

    * First and Surname
    * Address
    * Zip code
    * Phone number Daytime
    * Country
    * Account e-mail
    * CD-key, alternative a photograph of your CD-key that is located on your manual for World of Warcraft.

    letter 2

    Greetings!

    Thank you for responding to our account team so quickly.

    You have provided the necessary information that is vital to their investigation. As a last precautionary
    step we ask you to change the e-mail currently registered to account in question, to a randomly generated
    e-mail address provided at the bottom of this page. This will be completed with a confirmation, that will be
    sent to the current address that is registered to the account.

    Once you have taken these steps you may reply to this e-mail with the words " Account Review " in the
    subject heading. This is the final step of our investigation and you will receive notice of account closure if
    we have found you to have violated our ToU.

    We ask that you please review our Terms of Use found here:
    WoW -> Legal -> Terms of Use

    Thank you for your co-operation to ensure your account security.

    Blizzard Entertainment Inc
    Account Administration Team
    P.O. Box 18979, Irvine, CA 92623

    Regards,

    Your randomly generated e-mail address found here

    letter 3

    Greetings!

    Thank you for responding to our account team so quickly.

    You have now completed your side of the account review. Our Blizzard account team is now investigating the matter. Please allow 6-8 weeks time for our administrators to complete their investigation. Any remaining pre-paid game time will be fully reimbursed when we
    are complete.

    Any attempt to log into your account, during this period of time, at the World of Warcraft homepage or in game can and will be taken as an account security breach. This will result in an immediate account suspension, or termination.

    Once we have made our decision you will be notified by e-mail by our account administrators.
    Thank you for your co-operation, and patience to ensure your account security.

    If you have any questions or comments, reply to this e-mail with the words " account review "
    in the subject heading.

    For the second one just make a random email like [email protected] and give them the password. Then when they change it just log into that hotmail and change the e-mail on the account to yours. This scam still works.

    This is an optional letter you can send, Props to insaneomato.

    Please review the World of Warcraft Terms of Use at
    WoW -> Legal -> Terms of Use, which you accepted

    Nope, this would not work. All of Blizzard's emails are automated, therefor the "Responding so quickly" wouldn't work.

    If the person knows how long its gonna take, there not gonna fall for your scam in the first place. The idea behind 6-8 is to make sure the noob doesn't try to log in for a long time and he wont see his PW has been changed.

    If you would take half a second to pull your head out of your ass and actually read the old one you will see that it is full of errors. Any noob with half a brain will notice this .

    Anyone who knows how blizz's mail system works is not gonna fall for this either. Now please think before you post, so the admins don't ban you for being a absolute moron/flame nub.

    THIS DOES WORK SO QUIT SAYING IT WON'T, YOU just need to find the right mark.
