got this some time ago, it's the best thing i've ever done.
Using this too, the cellphone version. Will never switch this off.
I started using this after I got my password scammed, it was only 8 digits. Probably Bruteforced.
Now, I have 16-digit password with lower & UPPER capitals, numbers, and !"# etc. marks.
I recommend everyone to change pass to a long one with different marks and get an authenticator attached to your account!

It has been proven that the Authenticator can be hacked too,so no accounts are safe now.
It's not like a huge flood of infected accounts. In fact this virus is easily detectable because of the nature of how it functions.. So youd have to have no antivirus/firewall at all, and be pretty unaware of different sites/emails your opening.
So it's still MUCH safer than an account without one.
got the iphone version free from the app store and only took a few minutes to set up, although i wouldent mind paying the 6$ or whatever it is for greater peace of mind
Reccomend everyone to get one of these
any update on the situation yet? is the authenticator safe or hacked already? cause I have heard the rumors bout accounts being hacked even with auth protection in great amounts..
even if the authenthicator only the no1s of the servers must be careful
i have the version for iPod and it works perfectly, i wonder how could they hack it
I think that authenticator adds to safety greatly. And those cute little core hound puppies make it absolutely worth it's money![]()
My apologies if not in the right section, but...
SHOULDN'T SECURITY COME FREE WITH THE GAME?
Damn money grubbling blizzard
I agree silverleaf
Yeah, security should be free, after all we already pay a fair amount for it monthly. But since that's not gonna happen, this is a great tool!![]()
well i think this thing is good. i never got hacked since
Blizzard Authenticator - Instead of torturing you, the guy who hates you will just steal your authenticator.
I lose stuff and I like pain, I'll skip.
And now I can't turn off my italics. Damn it.
